sorry for not up dating but life has been keeping me busy trying to survive in this economy. i am still buying lotto tickets. i am winning and losing as usual and keeping track. the year is coming to an end i have a stack of tickets i need to up check on. i have sevral overlapping megamillion tickets and 2 powerball tickets. i think i will keep going to oregon to get a powerball ticket even if washington starts selling powerball. i am trying to get up to canada at the start of the new year to get me a lottomax ticket.

well i am back from hawaii. i am also back from texas. going to texas was the first trip in awhile that i did not rent a car. it felt strange being passenger.

i did not make a lotto run while i was there. i just got tickets for texas but toyed with the idea of going to oklahoma.

i noticed before i went to texas that the texas lotto was creeping up there. it was about 47 million before i got there. by the time i arrived in the dallas forth worth area it had grown to 55 million. i was so happy that i would get a shot at the texas lotto. more than likely i can continue my losing streak. hahaha. i got a 2 dollar ticket for 10 drawings. so maybe.... i also got a 1 dollar 10 drawing megabucks ticket with the kicker. the two lottos in texas are worth 134 million together. i would be happy with either one.

i have been a wee bit busy as of late. i see that mega million will be hitting the 100 million mark soon again. i will be increasing my purchases again. i did get a few hits on the last run up to 300+ million last time but more on that lately. powerball is over 100 million already. i have only one active ticket and it does not have a kicker. i just did not have the money on my last excursion to oregon. more on that later.

still the i want to start off with my friends to the north. the lottomax game just kicked off and i have no funds to go and get a ticket. so i won't be in on the inaugural drawing for 10 million cdn. just have no bucks after coming from texas.

i was trying to get a piece of the super7 before it went away. the hope was that no one would hit the final jackpot and the money would trickle down to the rest of the winners. well i managed to get a win on the last drawing but someone in saskactchewan won the big pot. now there will be no trickle down. i was going to mail my ticket in but i know i will be going back when the funds come in again. plus all i won was a free ticket. which meant i would be holding another 2 dollar canadian check i can't cash here. maybe the first week of october i will go to canada to get a ticket. woohoo i got a win.

well my future plans are to somehow to get back up to canada to get a lottomax ticket and another 6/49 ticket to go along with the one i alreay have. i am headed to georgia in about 2 weeks. i am going to the atlanta area. i will definitely be purchasing a ga mega ticket. if the money is there i will rent a car and drive down to florida to get me another long term powerball ticket and florida lotto.

man i am just like everyone else i just want that one hit. that one big win. the #$^$ you money. my daugher needs a car over in hawaii and i just need some extra money. i don't care what state lets me win i just want to win.

next month will be my last trip for the year. every time i say that someone wants to hire me to go somewhere for work. as you all know work has been scarce except for those who are working. i have no plans to go anywhere until next april after next month.

my lotto plans for next year looks like they are going to be a major bust. i wanted to take a train from seattle to LA and then just fly back. i just checked with amtrak and i see that i have enough for a one way ticket to LA by train. i just need to win some more money to pay for the plane trip back. anyway i have 3 more months of playing to win some money.

on a sad note. i am going to take one of my cats to the pound tomorrow. i just can't take care of her anymore. it will be breaking my heart. i can't afford to take her to a no kill place. i just don't know what to do anymore but she will be leaving tomorrow.

ok i need some big bucks. i could use a couple of 150 dollar hits. come on mister mega and mister power show me some love. yea baby.

anyway i got me a mega million 10 drawing ticket for yesterdays drawing. now that it went up to 207 million i got another via my wife for this friday's drawing. i still have one more drawing on my powerball from oregon and i can really use a win to pay for this trip and more. .

i might be headed to oregon to drop off a gift for a friend and pick up another powerball ticket. who knows.

well i came to hawaii to get my daughter settled in to her new digs. i am coming up on that goodbye moment and i am already welling up just to think about it. my baby girl will be on her own. it will be quiet  in the house. i just have to have a stiff upper lip and hold back the tears. i wish i could just pay for her schooling in one fell swoop. i just will keep working and giving her money so she can survive. it will truly be a return to innocence. just have to believe in destiny and follow my heart.

ah a trip down memory lane. my favorite band. their music never gets old to me. on the other hand i keep getting old. lol.

well the first thing i want to say is that i am going to a state that has no lottery. as far as i can tell they don't even have any casinos. i can't even drive to get a powerball or megamillion ticket while i am there.

i can't believe it myself but i am going. i got tickets and i got a hotel. i have to make accomodations to get my megamillion ticket for next friday if the pots keeps growing.

my little girl is leaving home and she decided she wanted to go to school in hawaii. she saved up her money so she can go to school there. mom and dad will be helping out as much as we can. i hear that is what parents do. so i pay and pay and play and play. i need the money now. oh boy. lol.

maybe i will post from the island? i won't be having withdrawal pains because i always play the multi-draw tickets.

well mister mega and mister power has not been very good to me this year. as the odds go up on winning on either game. my total winings go down and down. i think i won 230 something all last year. this year is turning out to be more abysmal than last year. still i slog through trying to hit at least a 150 prize or something. there are no hundred dollar winners in this camp in over a year. here we are past the half way mark for this year and i have not broke a hundred yet. i think i am sitting at 86 dollars for the year. that sucks but that is reality.

my wallet is stuffed with losing tickets. i been meaning to up date this for some time and this early morning that i can't sleep here i am.

looking at my last post i had a friend going to cali to get me some tickets. well he screwed it up and didn't get what i wanted. still i won. i got back my usual 10%. i have another friend heading to cali but i don't have the money or the time to track him down. the cali lotto is only worth 10 million. hmmmm how many bills can i pay off with 10 million.

well i made it back up to canada. my super7 ticket finally ran out and they sent me my last check. i wish i could find a place in the states that would cash my canadian checks. i had three checks worth about 38 dollars canadian that i got cashed at a check cashing place.

super7 is ending next month. if no one wins the final jackpot they will trickle down the last jackpot to those who have wining tickets. i got a ticket that will go until september 18th. i am hoping to get a little of that trickle down money. i can only hope. i am going to try real hard to go back in september to get in on the new game lottomax something. i did pick up canada 6/49 and it is good for 26 drawings. i think it ends in november sometime.

hawaii is the first of three trips i have scheduled. hawaii just popped up in june and i had to scramble to make it happen.

i am starting in hawaii and then going to texas in september and then to georgia in october. i have one more free car rental and i am going to use it in texas and run up to oklahoma. get me a powerball ticket from there. plus i will get me tickets from texas. i am looking forward to getting a multiplyer on my mega. i also want to get me a texas lotto ticket. texas lotto is at 37 million. it will probably be down to 4 million when i get there. georgia is where i get to run back down to florida for another long term ticket. i have to save up my pennies to make the florida tickets. so i am looking forward to the plane trips going from west to east of this great country.

oh yeah i hit again. not a big hit but it was on my birthday that i found out i won a powerball hit. no i am not quitting my job. oh yeah i don't have a job but i am still happy. those of you who keep track of my blogs remember the trip to oregon and the floods in washington state this past january. this ticket cost me a tank of gas, 2 nights stay in a motel 6, and several meals in cheap places. still throw all that out. i did purchase a new 10 drawing megamillions 20 dollar ticket from washington. i also had 4 in a row of losing 10 dollar 10 drawing washington megamillion tickets. megamillion is creeping up to the 100 million mark again. i will buy an extra 10 drawing ticket for every drawing over 100 million. it is 65 millon for the next drawing.

Well the randomizer put me on an acoustic piano piece. plus i went to a jazz concert last night here in seattle at Jazz alley. i got to see George Duke keyboard player and singer. it was a good thing to do last night and i was glad i was there. i think i am going to go next weekend too to see Stanley Clarke the jazz bass player and more. i think i will be taking in a few more concerts in the weeks to come. suffer suffer suffer is all we do lately. well i want to pull my head above the water and breathe.

well i invested my money in a hotel room from last year and i will spend a night in lewsiton idaho. maybe if i have some more time and a cheap place to stay i will spend another night on the road. you just can't do too much with less than 300 dollars to spend on lotto vacation. yes last year was just not that good a year. all my big hits came from canada and i couldn't even get the checks cashed here last year. so we are off to on a road trip the wife and i in 2 weekends. take what little we have from playing the lotto all last year and just enjoy washington and idaho. the economy dictates that we be a whole lot more frugal.

well i missed some transactions so i will have to give you some hightlights.

also in my wallet is my receipt from canada for my super 7 ticket that ran out in this month. the canadians were nice enough to mail my 2 dollar winning check to me. oh yes i have no place to cash it again. just another excuse to go to canada. love the country. i just purchased today a 10 drawing wa lotto ticket. wish me luck.

now the overview with what i can recollect.

the last time mega million went over 100 million i started purchasing extra tickets every drawing. i forgot how high it went before someone hit it but i was buying 10 drawing tickets every drawing past 100 million. i figured it can't hurt. i wish i could do that for powerball now. i got my tickets for that so more about that in a minute.

Getting back to the exchange ticket above. well i was on my way to oregon with my friend to get a powerball ticket. we were joking around in some store where i had the lady check my ticket and it cashed me out. i was just trying to check it not realizing i had more drawings on it. he got some more wa megamillion tickets and we were on our way south.

we got to oregon and i purchase a 26 drawing powerball ticket with power play. plus i purchased a 26 drawing ticket for the megabucks lotto there too. now i did not need another powerball ticket because i already had one but what the heck. i was in oregon and i purchased a lotto ticket. the powerball ticket is going to run out late may and the megabucks ticket sometime in april. i don't know and i don't care right now. i got the tickets. powerball is over 100 million now. whew.

well i did make the trip to florida and i came hunting for bear. i purchased a 52 drawing powerball ticket with powerplay and it is good until september sometime. i also purchased a 52 drawing ticket for the florida lottery with the piggyback prize. which put that one ticket about 156 dollars. the piggyback prize is 68 million. oh to win that or the powerball grand prize. momma.

well i had to drop my niece off at the airport and drive back to jacksonville. i stood outside the terminal and saw a couple of the delta employees having a smoke break. i asked how far was it to the georgia line from here. the one lady asked me what i wanted to do at exit one and i told her i wanted a lotto ticket. the guy told me to get off on exit one and go left to the hess gas station. he said he used to make that run a lot but not anymore since powerball came to florida. we smiled and off i went. i went tot he hess station and got a 10 drawing ticket for the megamillions there too. so right now i am heavy into megamillion. hey i will take 2nd place.

going through the airport in houston i picked up some slips for the texas lottery. i am going to fill them out and send them to my cousin who said that he would purchase some tickets for me. i just need to get around to filling out the paperwork for him. i lost my new york connection and hoping that i can get a steady texas connection for megamillion.

as metioned above i am headed to idaho. i will be picking up lotto tickets there for powerball too. maybe it will keep climbing until i get there. if not i will have 2 tickets in play by the time i get there. one of my oregon powerball tickets is coming due next wednesday. Poppa needs to pay some bills so powerball come through for me.

well the hour is getting late and the caffeine is wearing off. i still need to clean the bathroom and mail my new york ticket off. so wish me luck. i could use some.

how apprpriate a song for my feeling right now. my daughter pissed me off and i put this song on real loud to chase them from down stairs. she wouldn't let me use her headphones and it was some kind of burden for her to drive dad to a bus. it was no burden for me to drive her to seattle and wait until her friend showed up from running errands. Dads get no respect!

like the song says i need to let it go.

anyway i put in my last bit of money from last year into my saving account and i didn't even break 300 last year. hmmmm maybe i should just let that go too. hahaha. i did make enough to get a long awaited drive across washington to idaho on the southern route. i just need to book my room in lewiston or near by.

i was waiting on a check from kentucky that i had not seen and was wondering where it could be. most states are pretty good about sending out the checks. well my wife was going through some old mail and she came across my check from KY. it was for a whopping 4 dollars but it did get added to last years total.

i had a bunch of tickets that matured at the beginning of january but i only had 2 winners both from colorado. i finally got them in the mail and will be waiting on the checks to come back to me so i can start 2009 account.

i did have more losers maturing this year.

i do have another oregon ticket to check but i have not checked it yet. it is a oregon megabucks ticket.

i have a washington lotto coming due this saturday. i also have a washington megamillions ticket that i know is a 10 dollar winner. i happened to have it on me when i was checking the losers at the counter. so i know i have more for the 2009 lotto fund.

i have no trips planned until next month when i go to florida. i did send off a query to the txlottery people about the time the lotto place is open in the houston airport. i try to pass through there during the middle of the day but my schedule just did not work out that way. so my fingers are crossed that i can get me a ticket while in the airport.

i don't have any more to tell you. i wish i get a thousand dollar win or more this year.

this is a nice and haunting remix of an old classic! it is so nice as i play it over and over again in my background as i type this up. wow. i went to up date my windows media player and it put this back in my current playlist. ah one more time.

Wow is another word for how many hits i got in just two months. i had almost 5000 views in under two months. i thought since i could not get on to do an update things would quite down. how wrong i was. nice to know i am not missed. i have posted on other blogs and polls but just didn't up date this one.

well let me get to the update.

i never made it to cali. i got terribly sick on the day i was supposed to fly down to cali. i had my wife call my friend in cali and let him know i couldn't make it and i was sorry i couldn't use his ticket. the older i get the harder the colds hit you. i just could not get on the plane to go south. i really would like to have gotten a ticket from there. cali is the largest jackpot today. 70 million is no small lotto. oh well until my next trip there. i can't convince my friend to purchase a ticket for me. maybe someone here? hmmmm?

i didn't open a canadian bank account. the banks i talked to up there were all charging maintence fees that would have just ate up the balance. so i just cashed them there. jumping the gun a little bit on the up date but i went up to BC and got me two more lotto tickets. i have a canadian 6/49 good until april sometime and i got a super 7 ticket that is good until july sometime. i don't have any plans to go to canada again for awhile. come to find out that i had 2 checks that were winners on the 6/49 and one good on the super7. i just hate check cashing places. i wish i knew someone up there that i could meet in surrey and just plain ole cash my checks on their account. hmmm? any surrey people here? just asking.

well let me get to the current things. i see a stack of stuff i just need to blurt out. i think i can go over the winners a lot easier than i can the losers.

i had a $10 winner on a $ 10 dollar was lotto ticket. hey look at that a 100% return for once.

i had a $ 6 dollar winner on a 20 dollar wa lotto ticket. of course it is a reason for the blue man to dance. matter of fact i have not put my money in my account yet. i still have the 6 dollars on me. i need to go put it in the bank. no big wins to claim my losses against this year.

thus ends my wins for 2008. no more money will be added to my lotto account for 2008. i will be headed to idaho for my birthday and use the lotto money for last year to go to idaho. i will be expecting a ticker tape parade when i go to lewiston idaho.

well i had on my calendar the change over for powerball and i was going to go to oregon to get me another power ball ticket. i didn't know if my north carolina connection would be able to help out in a timely manner. i have not heard from her in a while. so i thought the ecomonmy might have gottent ot her family. it has gotten to my family. still i have had hard times before and maintained my powerball play. 

i was going to go with the wife or a friend of mine to oregon but the powers that be ruled each one out. plus it was raining (yes i know it is the northwest) but i was going anyway. i needed to go the wednesday after the changeover to get my power ball ticket. 

i was planning on making a nice slow day down there because of the rain. i was going to stop a few places going south. well i had the radio on in my car and heard that they might be closing the highway because of flooding. i was like oh no. i was not going to drive to idaho through the snow on the mountains. well i just took off and kept driving. i didn't even stop for gas and i knew i was low on gas. 

when i got down to the troubled area it was still open and my gas light was coming on and off but i kept going. once i got near the high ground south of the area i pulled over to get some gas. while i was in the store people were doing things to protect their homes and their well being. the waters were going to be threatening the store i was in and they were thinking of closing. 

i left there and continued south to oregon. as i got into oregon the rain stopped and all was good i thought. 

i looked at the new play slip in the store and let out a yelp of happiness. my dreams had finally come through. OREGON had finally extended the amount of draws i could play the game. it extended the plays to 26 drawings in a row with powerplay. well i was not planning on spending that much money but i got me a ticket for 26 drawings with power play for 52 dollars. ouch. i also got me a megabucks ticket for 10 drawings with the kicker. i could have done more but i did not have that much cash on me. so i was a happy camper.

i go out to my car and listen to the radio and the highway was still open. i talked to two friends of mine and then head home. i get 2 exits out of town heading norht and i hear they just shut the highway down. not only did it get shut going north south. there was no way to get back into the seattle area for anyhow. i couldn't go the coast or the mountain or through canada. i was stuck in this town for 2 days. the first night i was trying to get a room with people whose local river was going to flood too. arrrgggh. 2 days with hardly any money in a motel 6. still i was happy with my lotto ticket. lol.

i purchased a few megamillion tickets here in washington and some wa lotto tickets too. i would go into more details about those tickets but i am getting short on time. superbowl is coming up.

future trips! i have one planned for jacksonville florida. i am already looking forward to getting a powerball ticket from there good for 6 months right along with a florida ticket with the 3x time kicker. now that is almost $160 for the one ticket.

ok go steeler. i am a very very luke warm supporter of the steelers. my teams are out of it.

well i think i have decided to open up a canadain bank account. i can't figure a way to handle my canadian checks. maybe when i win the big one i can just walk out of the office up there and deposit it in my account. i was going to run up there tomorrow but i am going to wait until another time. hopefully before the year runs out.

lets see. i am sending off two tickets, 1 to north carolina and 1 to south dakota. i hit the powerball a while back and i think i mentioned it here already. i also hit the the hot lotto in south dakota. i got a 100% return on my ticket.

i played the sizzler and i won on two different days and got back the 18 dollars i spent there. i need to break that 100% barrier like i did in canada.

ok i did make it back to nyc for the funeral and i was a wreck but i did get my lotto.

i got 2 separate drawings for the new york lottery. they have a very stupid and arcane way of playing advance play for the ny lottery. you can only do 2 advance play tickets in ny. so i got my 2 and they were both losers. oh well.

i stayed in new jersey and i picked up a 8 drawing ticket for the pick 6 in jersey. i also picked up 1 megamillion ticket when i first got there. after a few days and the pot was still high i broke down and got another 8 drawing ticket in new jersey. i didn't do the pick 6 again because i am not made out of money. lol.

well PA is the opposite way and only about 25 minutes from where i was staying and off i went with the misses to PA to get a ticket. i get to this little place in easton and the guy is on the phone. i made the mistake of asking him if he knew how to do the advance play. he tells me yeah and of course he starts doing it all wrong. i had to stop him and told him i wanted to fill out the form. he could not figure out how to do 11 advance plays with the powerplay. so i tore that one up and did another for 10 drawings which took me up to the cut off date for the change over.

now i am up against the change over for powerball with colorado, montana, and PA. which means i have to go to oregon in january to get my next tickets. my north carolina connection gets forgetful sometimes and doesn't buy them on time. so i will be headed down there right after the changeover and hopefully the price of gas stays down.

i did have a washington lotto win. i hit for 3 dollars on 2 separate drawings. i also had a mega million loser for washington. i had a south dakota powerball loser too. i also have a kentucky winner. this was the ticket that i did not play the power play. i still have a few more drawings on that this one. so i will be closing it out this week and purchashing a new washington lotto.

well i think that about covers it.

oh no one more thing or maybe two.

one i am headed down to cali for a social visit. i am going to get tickets down there too. i am hoping no one wins the cali lottery before i get there. it will be up to 29 million by saturday if no one hits it. i am thinking of getting a set. by one set on saturday with max drawings and then buy another set of max drawings on sunday. then i want to buy me maybe 40 dollars worth of the big spin tickets scratch off game. i want to spin that damn wheel for the money.

well the 2nd thing went away and now it is time for me to go away too. until next time.

i feel like dancing right now. i mean this minute. my wife comes to me to let me know that she found a check for me from the canadians. i love the people in the BC province in how they just send me my checks when i win. i got a check for 66 dollars canadian. i am almost back to what i  spent when i was up there last. i have to make plans to go back there again for next month. nothing more to tell you other than my next ticket to check will be from north carolina. i think it runs out this week but i don't know.

i came down to send off my three tickets to get my money and i have done absolutely nothing. i did get around to checking out my iowa tickets. i got one winner thanks to mister power and i think i won back about 60% of my money. i won 12 dollars on a 20 dollar ticket. if my math is wrong oh well. oh yeah the blue man gets to boogie on this one. my other ticket was a loser. still the kitty grows. maybe i will have enough for 2 nights in a hotel and gas money for my birthday trip across washington. i was hoping for a trip back to iowa to collect a couple of hundred thousand dollars. oh yes the other ticket was a hot lotto loser.

st. louis trip netted three illinois tickets. the little lotto is a loser already. i got a mega and a lotto still.

i got a kentucky powerball ticket for 26 drawings no power play. i was bummed i screwed up.

i got a missouri powerball ticket with power play and missouri lotto ticket.

in the airport i got a minnesota powerball ticket with power play and i got a hot lotto ticket with sizzler (whoo whoo!)

i got a check from new york state for a mega million ticket. i am sending a new one to collect.

i am sending 3 tickets to oregon. i had a winner with powerball with a 2x multiplier. i hit on the oregon megabucks on 2 separate ticets.

i am sending away for a powerball winner with the multiplier to north carolina. it is still under a 50 dollars.

i got in the mail a powerball ticket from north carolina good until december 26. i see a trip to oregon in december.

i got a check in the mail to replace the stale check i had from british columbia. not much but 8 dollar is 8 dollars. oh crap it is canadian. just kidding.

i had a loser on the washington lotto. i need to pick up a ticket for that today but not for the full 10 draws.

200 million is looking good for me. it could come from NC, MN, MO.or KY.

OK I have to run to the bank to put in my check and the cash i won locally.

one last thing. i am out of work again but i have a side job going to help keep me afloat.
