hope everyone is doing well here.doing the usual myself and trying to get through another day.to the point now that gas,food and bills take up all my resources so i don't play anymore but thats the state of things here in the summer of 2008 and could stay that way until the politicians finally see the huge amount of americans slipping out of the middle class.

You are not alone Mike. The cost of living has affected almost everyone. I just retired in March, so I don't have to buy gas to go to work...but food is sky high, and I certainly feel that pinch! ...and I'm just one person. My heart goes out to a family of over 4...I just don't know how they do it!!!!

Comment by Coin Toss - May 20, 2008, 9:57 amI don't know if you folks have ever read the Communist Manifesto but one of the steps is a progressive tax system that eventually eliminates the middle class, leaving only very low wage workers, and rulers.
So, if we consider this progressive "tax" is being carried out via fuel and food prices....
