From the land of Not-quite-what-you-meant, Congress put into law automatic pay raises, so now they no longer have to go on record voting for one.

@time*treat: Isn't that convenient for them! I guess the legislated away any remaining guilt for padding their already over-inflated bank accounts.

Norma White has some excellent ideas! Where else can you work for 6 years and continue to receive your salary? (I honestly didn't know that about Congress until I read this article!)   In fact, I think I agree with everything she wrote. However, I don't know how we can refuse to medically treat or feed other human beings, even if they are here illegally.

The ONLY way for any of this to happen that Norma White said is to revolt and start a new Government for the People, By the People. Oh wait!! We did that!! Okay, then let's do it again, maybe we'll get it right? So much has changed to the Constitution that the original document is a thing of the past. The Bill of Rights? They shreded it.

Two pictures come to mind that Micheal Douglas made, one, Wall Street and another The China Syndrome. Three Mile Island was right after that movie came out, and again Wall Street melt down came after that movie came out.   I don't think it is a coincidence that he made two movies that foretold the future. Could be that some people are paying more attention to what is going on.

And Three Mile Island data mislead citizens, it was much worst than the Government claimed.   Too much is going on that our Government is hiding and those jokers in Washington should be held responsible.   Sorry, that is a oxymoron.
