Can you hear my laughs from here justexploring?

Any kind of talk about a Republican taking campaign contributions just bounces right off, causing great deals of heart-felt laughter.

Barack Obama takes the cake in every category of campaign corruption, bad money, nefarious business dealings, and every other category of crooked-politician relationships -- and he was elected President!

So you can throw anything you want at every Republican out there, and they all just sing Obamalama shish-koom-bah, go talk to the master of all crooked dealings!

@MADDOG: Have you picked up a copy of Liberty and Tyranny? It is jaw-droppingly amazing! All those instincts of "I've got a bad feeling about this" are given a voice, and it turns out that things have gotten far worse than you'd imagine. That story Rick Perry gives in the video about boiling a frog is the perfect analogy.

Mark Levin is a constitutional lawyer, so the guy knows his stuff. What makes him special is his ability to clearly communicate in an un-lawyerly manner -- and un-apologetically!

When you get the book it is surprisingly thin and light -- easily less than 300 pages -- but as you go through it you start to realize how dense the information is, because he doesn't treat you like a neophyte -- he gets right to the point.

*Everyone* who calls themselves an American should read that book, not just conservatives, so they can evaluate the facts for themselves, and decide if they truly believe the information they've been force-fed by the teacher's unions, mainstream media, and Hollywood elites for decades.

See for yourself the important turning points in the last 100 years, and understand the road map of how we got to where we are today. For that matter, just understanding where we are today is a good reason to read the book.

Understand what is meant by the "founders". What were their motivations? What were their intentions? All of that information was documented over the years (including by the founders themselves), but people who want to lead you down a *different* path than they charted have decided to omit that information from the public discourse.

Liberals and conservatives alike will learn how your non-representing Representatives in government are not guided by either liberal or conservative values. They are statists (STATE-ists), and they are not working with your interests in mind.

Glad to hear you're going to pick up the book. I hope more people do.

@louise black: Please refrain from posting comments on my blog, unless you can refrain from the type of racists personal attacks that you demonstrated in your comment. On my Web site, people are allowed to disagree with each other, and in the blogs they are even allowed to disagree with their government. However, one thing we don't allow is angry rants designed to attack people rather than their ideas.
