Invocation:


Archangel St. Michael commands the legions of heaven and defends humans in the constant battle with the evil ones.  If you have ever invoked his name in times of trouble then you surely have experienced the peace and sense of well being that his presence radiates.  His feast day is celebrated on September 29th and this is a great opportunity to perform a ritual to invoke St. Michael’s presence and protection in your daily life. 

 

  • Find a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed.  Place your chair facing East. Ground yourself by placing your feet firmly on the floor.  Close your eyes and take three deep breaths.  Inhale through your nose and softly exhale through your mouth.
  • Picture a blue light forming around your feet.  Imagine this blue ray of protection growing around you and enveloping your entire body. 
  • Again take three deep breaths.  Picture yourself inhaling the protective light of the blue ray with each breath you take.  When you feel a sense of well being say the following words:  “I now invoke the mighty Archangel Michael to stand at my right-hand side. Please grant me the strength, courage, integrity, and protection I need to fulfill my purpose in this incarnation. Please use your sword to cut away any doubts and negativity. Surround me with your protection, so that I may always work on the side of good. Thank you.” 
  • Imagine Archangel St. Michael embracing you.  Feel the love emanating from his presence directly into your heart.  Imagine his sword forming a protective shield over your head.  Put both hands over your heart and say thank you to the powerful Archangel and invite him to stay always with you. 
  • At this point you may feel a sense of extreme well being, peace and relaxation.  You may experience a change of temperature in the room.  Enjoy the bliss and comfort of knowing that you are connected with the powerful Archangel. 

 

 

When you are ready to return to your normal day’s activities, take 3 deep breaths thank him for his presence and ask him to be a part of your everyday life.  When you invoke the presence of Archangel St. Michael you are never alone.
