MY JOURNEY TO FIVE NUMBERS (good for any Pick5)

Published:

i figure i would put here what i am thinking to get my five numbers in Take Five...as i get closer to five numbers i want to be sure i dont share my jackpot with two many other members, besides Canjun and feisty have everyones attention...and hopefully by writing here my thoughts and feelings regarding pattern evolution, i wont make so many mistakes as i will document my finding here...so here goes the experiment...

Firstly I have been playing take five for 7 years...i dont have a personal program other than excel...and it is a very large file which takes a long time to email...

I am of the school of Gail Howard, although i found out about her after i had started winning with excel...for ease of explanation I will be using most of her terminology as i also use her Advantage Plus program...but what she calls a Drawing Since Hit chart i will refer to the Matrix Walk, or for mathematicans the Random Walk...also known as Brownian motion...an intersting anecdote is that Brown was a contemporary of Einstein...and einstein has written some interesting articles regarding brownian motion.

For example in last nights take five drawing, the Results were  7  10  11  17  30

the previous draw to that the results were 4  10  19  29  37

the random walk was obvious for two numbers specifically...

the 10 walked forward...hence a 0 day skip...

the 29 walked upward or +1  to 30

to win a jackpot in take five (or any game for that matter)...you MUST anticipate the random walk.

if you read the LMG or Lottery Master Guide, gail mentions that almost every draw (or a large percentage) have an adjacent number.

That is a perfect random walk...ideal for pattern finders...

So if you consider the last draw of   7  10  11  17  30   you have to "guess" artfully, where the next random jump will be...

Now an important pattern in my game is for one number to repeat...even better is for two numbers to repeat...so that is what i will focus on for tommorrow...

It is best to "wheel" the repeat numbers with the best "due" skips...

Using advantage plus as a guide...the suggestions for repeat are 7  at a double hit ratio of 6.3    (6.8 being the average)

11 is 7.3  (but i have a hunch about this number)

10 is a great repeater at  6.7 but it just repeated...

17  at 6.7

30  at  7.8  (not good but 30 has been killer this year so far!)

so for starters in our set   I will put   first   7  and   11  to repeat together...

then   11   17   to repeat...hopefully i will get both correct...

also i would do  11   30   to repeat....

so the lines begin to take shape....

take  7   11   @0d....then we need a due skip...take 4d...last hitting 2 games ago...the qualifying numbers are

18,24,35...now i know by the companion chart afforded to me by Advantage plus,

11  18   has scored together  86times and it is top third...

11   24  "      "           "           87times and it is top second...

11    6                                  88times and it is top.

now 18 is a beautiful +1 off 17, and thus represents an ideal model of random walk.  of course it could walk -1, and thus becomes 16...but the skip of 4 over 18 is generally preferred...

although you  cant rule it out completely...

but just knowing the companion of 11 i would rule +1 first for N4(17)

so a simple "catch" combo is 11  17  18  24  (hoping to get minimum 2 right but possibly much more!!)

now in take five if you ever watched this game long enough you realixze that eventually the numbers will bunch up...as a player i have to anticipate the "bunchup"

a significant bunchup ocurred on april 6,  when the result was  15  16  17  18   32,  now any fool can guess those numbers correctly!!!

i will also play to catch a bunchup...

With 11  17  both to repeat and the random walk off 17 anticipated to go upwards or +1, i will do an extreme movement by playing

17 18 19 20

now its usually unlikely, but you have to follow the overall walk over time...if on April 6 the result was 15 16 17 18, then why not on  April 29, it shouldn't be 17 18 19 20?

its a logical "walk" or shift in numbers...

now assuming a random walk off number 30  you can go -1 back to 29, or +1 to 31,

Now since in my wheel i am assuming the 30 will also repeat, i will play a bunchup of  29  30  31  32,  why not?  its simple, its easy to see, and it contains all the significant skips...

Analyzing by skips is a great method to ensure a proper balance...

now the first bunchup of

11   17   18   19   20    has skips as follow,   0   0   4   1   10 ...so super duper...i talk a lot about fibonacci...and the skip sequencs just has a nice flow...and it should also in your sets...for your game.

the 2nd

11   29   30   31    32   has skips as follow,   0   1   0    5   8  ...so super duper...  rearranged to appear like the golden mean...0  0  1   5   8,

incidently the skip 5 is also due...it hit today with number 17, and it was out eight games, so there should be another, also a skip 6 is at -3, (when i put a minus sign in front of a number it means "skip")

the skip 6 numbers are 12, (which has been on a tear)

14 (also has been on a tear)  and thats it...easy choice here...

another bunchup i have been mentioning on the 13 set limit thread was

11 13 14 so i may have to throw in another bunchup...of 11 12 13 14

11  12  13  14  whos skip sequence is  0  6  21  6  now ideally i should add a core skip of 1d

the one day skippers are

4  19  29   37...all which look delightful...but there can only be one...first to ensure some continuity in my wheel, i would add 29 to this line (at -1) since i already have it in another combo...

thus the line becomes

11  12  13  14  29  by skip its  0  6  21  6  1   so again the flow looks pleasant with   0  1  6  6  21  (more or less)

looking at that progression it just popped into my head that i should have a line that looks  like  0  1  4  4  ?  (the ? should be a long skip...so what are the best long shots?

preferably not too long...ideally between -10  to  -13  with  -16  being a good skip...so we have to look for contenders...also look for bottoms, which are symmetrical long skips...

i will look for the symmetry first since its easier to spot...

the only number currently with skip symmetry is 38 where the current skip is 13 and the previous skip was 12, but it has been cold...so i might forsake it...

i would prefer a skip of  -10, -11,-12, or i could stay with the 13 because its a 21 day skip...and its "tight" with 11

so if i assume   0   1    4    4   21  (doesnt have quite the same flow...)

preferably and addittionaly i would play a skip mix of 0   1   4   4   10   or a

0    1    4    4    13, which has a nicer flow...(whatever that means!),,,i guess you just have to try and use your intuition...

so we have a line now...

11   18   19   20   35  by skip   0   4   1   10  4  ....rearranged...0   1   4    4   10....looks jackpot material to me!! of course this line does not have a double repeat, but it will do.

Ok so i wrote some lines on paper, on my "workout" sheet...but i will check what i wrote here tommorrow so i dont forget to play the winners!!!Jester LaughLepDance

Hey there, congrats on your first blog post. I find it does help to write it down. Where would the scientist be without his notebook. Good luck in your process!
