Are the people in the world doing anything different today than they have been for centuries?

Not really.

Just have advancement of better toys to use during our daily activities.

I think our country's leaders are far more corrupt than ever before.
We've never had a President and Attorney General as corrupt as the ones we have now.
They took sworn oaths to abide by the Constitution.
And they're not.
