Viewing the Government shutdown on television"

I watched on television about the government shutdown going on in the United States;

Reporter's were interviewing people that had lost their job's due to it, and they were commenting how they never thought they'd have to visit a food bank, to get food and now they are sadly doing it."

My thought's go out to everybody affected by it, and we in Canada are concerned about what is manifesting with the govenment there; as it could happen, here as well..Sad Wavey

Elisabeth, that has been happening for years when people first started losing their jobs and homes during the Bush era. That's why people wanted Bush out and didn't vote the republicans back in twice. these people are just joining the crowd.But thanks for caring.

Elizabeth, as usual these low informed voters want to spread lies. It didn't happen while bush was in office, if they don't believe that they can Google it. Foreclosures went rampant under Obama, Unemployment went rampant under Obama, Economy went rampant under Obama, So now they want to blame Bush, instead of standing up and saying the TRUTH. I certainly hope this doesn't happen to everyone in the North..

Besides they can't fudge the statistics on this one. But you can bet they'll try their darnedest to make it look like it's someone else's stats. This Country is in shambles because of Obama and I don't feel one bit sorry for them...

Yes Elizabeth look it up yourself and be careful and consider the source. Never believe anything any of us say. Research it yourself. They will also tell you that Obama shutdown the government when it were radical Republican Teaparty that used the American people jobs as hostage if they didn't stop Obamacare. They had already appealed it 41 times but the Supreme Court made it law and they used the debt ceiling and shutting down the government to try to force Obama to stop something that was already law. They said if you don't let us take the money away from Obamacare we are going to shut down the government and they did and it blow up in their face. Didnt give a   about the American people.

I do knows that clinton had his gubment shut down that lasted for weeks too. Now hussein and clinton can hi five each other!

I was watching the news again and wrote down what they were saying and what was printed on the screen, it said, that the shutdown cost $24 billion; and votes are expected on the senate debt bill.

Elizabeth03 the government is open again . It was closed by the radical Curz and his posse'. President Obama came into this hellish economy, left by the Bush administration.
