That's why they work so well under the cover of darkness. Being sneaky is a big part
of their agenda.

UPDATE IV: Here's Catherine Anaya's new statement:

"Last night during my live reports from the White House I attempted to describe the highlights of the day. I was speaking off the cuff and unscripted and in the process I made two major mistakes: I reported an off the record conversation and what I reported was not accurate. I took a conversation about the preparation for a press briefing and muddied it with my own experience of wanting to provide a question for the press briefing. I incorrectly applied the process to everyone. That was wrong and it was bad reporting. But it was not intentional and I would never purposely report inaccurate information. The White House never asked for my questions in advance and never instructed me what to ask. I chose to provide one of my questions in advance of the press briefing because I wanted to make sure it would have broad appeal. I did not attribute or report factually last night and for that I deeply apologize. I pride myself on truth and objectivity. I sincerely regret any harm I've caused and I hope that you will continue to place your trust in the hardworking journalists who make up CBS 5 News."

I would have taken issue with that scenario as well..but when I read further down I saw the correction of the journalist responsible for the story claiming this.

That "correction" WAS COERCED!!!!!! They obviously threatened her career and her life to make that statement and retraction. We have a serious problem with the fascists in charge something has to give.

Sounds like somebody was attempting to twist and turn a story for ill political intent and got called out on it and forced to retract. It's just the way it looks because after all, it's not like the american people are not well versed on these kinds of cheesy tactics that both party's are known to practice.

Eisenhower did something similar. He made the press corps write their questions on index cards. He would pick and choose which questions to answer, leaving the others behind.

How is this different from what Eisenhower did?   I thought all Presidents since Ike did this. Evidently I was wrong.

Oh,well, back to the drawing board

She's an award winning Anchor, Has many Latino Charities, is very active in her community.
Why would she destroy her career to post uninteresting smut?
I think she was forced to come up with that ridiculous answer.
She's not a rookie by any means.
