This is such a sad and horrific story. Some random resident at Boston Children's Hospital unilaterally decided on his own that this child's long term doctors were misdiagnosing this child, and sent her for a unilaterally decided second opinion. How the hell can they do this?

You can bet this child's parents are getting the bill. Follow the money.
