Back in the day when the street lights began to flicker everyone, and I do mean everyone did their impression of Jesse Owens as they hauled ass home.

Yeah, Speedy, this is so true. I had a flash back!!! Man, these kids nowadays can stay out ALL NIGHT doing what ever they want...and how. When I was at home, all except a few loose hard-heads were in at dark. See, there was an accountability factor for all the parents that cared about their kids. If I were to go somewhere, they knew where I was, or, supposed to be. I raised my kids the same way even though I had times where I had to hunt my son down at times. I believe this is the larger part of the problem with today's kids.

Too many of them are just roaming around idle and you know what's said about an idle mind. They go looking for something to get' 'into' whether it's someone's daughter, someone's store, or someone's home to steal. I sometimes see more kids than adults out at certain points of the night. Something's wrong there.
