The Malaysian flight coincidence number 17

I can't believe I just realized that the crash happened on the 17th of JULY. I've been watching the news incessantly and not once  hear any of the news casts, friends, and co-workers even bring it up.

For some strange reason it just clicked, and thought about this. Weird.

Just saw Florida had 179 eve on the 17th of July.

And Missouri too on that day with 517, Washington DC, 671.

The other thing I forgot to mention is the odds of such a coincidence happening soley based on two more coincidences. I mentioned the first, 179, then the fact it happened on the 17th of July, and finally, it happened in one other state. However, there's one last thing, the third thing. TWA flight 800 was blown out of the sky on the same date in 1995 or 1994, I forget. Was this planned?

I don't know why but in Italy 17 is considered really unlucky.
