Walkin chapter three
Published:
Updated:
Done a weigh in for third month. Gained four pounds since first week in July. Have not changed my usual intake of food except for maybe smaller quantity. Eating the same all around variety of food I have been eating all my life. Maintained weight control previously when I was active working. Retirement had cut down on my physical activity and that is the reason I started on an exercise routine in mid June.
I am feeling a lot better anyhow. Weight loss is not a priority to me but muscle strength is.
Still doing a walk but cut down on the frequency that I walk. Have been doing more daily gym type exercises.
Made my own kettlebell. Had an 8x8x12 inch high bucket and attached a handle to each side. Filled it with weight currently at 20 lbs. Do my dead lift and swing with it.
I was lacking in exercise for the muscles in my upper body. So I started this past week doing exercises for the upper body. I could tell they were lacking in exercise as they hurt like he!!.
Can tell I am gaining strength in my legs and abdomen by the way they are stiffening up.
Learning muscle anatomy as I go and exercises for each of them.

Another thing I noticed is that with my muscles starting to tone up especially with doing walking and exercises my lungs seem to be doing better. I have COPD taking daily inhalers. I figure with my muscles toning up less oxygen is needed. I will need to look up info on that theory.
