Bill O'Reilly...
Published:
(CNSNews.com) - "The American people are not being told the whole truth by the Obama administration about two very important situations (Ebola and ISIS), and the BS has to stop," Fox News's Bill O'Reilly told his audience Monday night.
First, Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is "not being candid" about Ebola: "Frieden should resign," O'Reilly said.
And second, President Obama has "created a myth" about a 60-nation coalition coming together to defeat the ISIS terrorists, something that is not happening. O'Reilly noted that the air campaign is not stopping the terrorists' advance, and the Turkish Army sits one mile way, doing nothing to stop the slaughter of civilians in Kobani.
"Great coalition, Mr. President. Way to go," O'Reilly said.
O'Reilly, in Monday night's "Talking Points" memo, said there is "no compelling reason" for West Africans to come to the U.S. when the Ebola epidemic is raging in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
"This is a national security issue, is it not? What reason is there on this earth not to suspend visas from that area? The truth is, there is no reason. Just a bunch of excuse-making."
CDC Director Frieden opposes a travel ban, saying it would make it more difficult to get medical personnel and supplies into West Africa. But O'Reilly called that excuse "total garbage."
O'Reilly noted that Frieden has refused multiple requests to appear on "The O'Reilly Factor."
"He knows that I know that he is not being canddid, that he is spinning the situation and not being forthcoming about how the disease is being spread. Frieden should resign," O'Reilly said.
The belief that civilian airport personnel will be able to spot dormant Ebola in air travelers "is stupid and irresponsible and puts all Americans at risk. It's a dumb and dangerous ruse, and Frieden is the chief propagandist. He knows better. 'Talking Points' is just asking for common sense, which the Obama administration is rejecting outright."
O'Reilly predicted that the administration "will soon reverse course" on admitting West Africans to the U.S.
He also insisted that Americans "are not being told the truth" about how an NBC cameraman contracted Ebola in West Africa.
"Americans have a right to know that," O'Reilly said. "And the failure to tell us is a huge concern. This has to stop. The federal government has got to level with the American people."
