At one time I weighed 273 +/- pounds. I now weigh 170. I succeeded by changing my eating habits. No carbs, more "working in the yard" (i.e. piddling), and more golf. But walking and exercising are good, too. Keep it up and you will find yourself not being to do without it, which is good also.
