The repubs got what they wanted, both houses. But they forgot majority does not rule, they obstruct. Nothing has changed in spite of all the hot air that came out of the repubs mouth. It's still business as usual. Sad

Yep, and it's all just to be obstructive and ornery with the President regarding simple issues. These people are jiving around with our securities 'cause they don't want the immigration language is the package. Republicans want all of America to think that the President simply allows any, every, and all migrants to just get here and remain here...and this is COMPLETELY UNTRUE. The opposite, though, is the TRUTH. Both Bush and Obama have similar numbers in this regard but, you don't hear the Republicans bringing any of this up. Link:

Business as usual, and you nailed it Speedy. They are saying and doing the same old thing that they have in the past years...NOTHING BUT LYING, CRYING, AND BUYING TIME. They collectively had the votes to pass something a while back and Republicans still did nothing but complain and find trivial reasons not to get something done. Oh, but I'll show you where Obama and the Democrats can get something done almost without ANY REPUBLICAN INVOLVEMENT WHATSOEVER:

http://trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com/2013/01/obama-signs-lifetime-secret-service-protection-for-george-w-bush-himself-and-future-presidents.html/

Yeah, when it involves any of their guys and their being beneficial, it's a no brainer, buddy. Remember the link I posted about Obama asking the DOJ to pardon Bush & Co. for the whole Iraq deal? It went through with flying colors. Yet, and still, the weakest Republicans treat the man like dirt. Just look at what Rudy Giuliani and his super racist-dumba$$ said about the President. It's why the INTELLIGENT REPUBLICANS pulled away from him knowing it wasn't true and was way out of line. What a great time for my S.O.S...Spot On Segue! (I have that trademarked, too)! Now, you'd think that with all the President has done for the Republicans' ex-leaders (Bush & Co.), they'd be more than willing and ready to offer some FORGIVENESS FOR THE WHOLE BENGHAZI DEBACLE...IF IT WERE TRUE, THAT IS. As it stands, not one of these individuals has said a word about it since then EXCEPT CARLY FIORINA AT THE CPAC meet. Yeah, she brought up Benghazi and Hillary for what ever dumb reason just like CajunWin4 did recently. Can you see the senseless correlation in that, America? Here's the FACTS why Benghazi was abandoned long ago, and, why no forgiveness is required. Strong Link:

Disclaimer: While I maintain that MSNBC still does a better job, more often than not, of straight forward reporting than Fox, Fox does still get it right when they really have a chance NOT TO at times. This is why I do watch both styles of reporting because when you LIMIT where you want your TRUTH to come from, you limit your total knowledge in general. I can find tidbits of TRUTH EVERYWHERE, even when listening to Rush, Sean, Savage, and others...although it's very easy to dismiss a whole lot of what they say. Allow me to point out something regarding the following link. The title is 'extremely misleading' and one of the contributors (Jose DelReal) went as far as cropping and photo-shopping a picture of Hillary at CPAC. Look very closely at the picture in reference to the background and you can tell it's fake. Not sure what the motive was here but, just FYI. Link:

Okay, thanks for the space, Speedy. Time to contribute elsewhere and dispel more lies while cultivating the TRUTH. I see that emilyg had a pretty good party going on over there! For what it's worth, Trey Gowdy get's along fine with (D)'s according to my second link. Oh, yeah, he's in there...and he's hand in hand with the (D)'s when it serves his purpose. Outside of that, his only aggression is on voter ID issues and he seems pretty straight forward like other Republicans. Good link on how he feels about lesbian women in general when it comes to Violence Against Women:

http://www.ontheissues.org/house/Trey_Gowdy_Civil_Rights.htm

Hmmmm. I suppose this mean that he feels Dick Cheney's daughter can be assaulted and that it's okay because she's gay/lesbian. I thought being assaulted is simply being assaulted, and that's it's wrong no matter what. Guess I was wrong. America, you'd better be very careful who you align with...and do your diligence. Party over...pun intended. Now, let's have a looksie at the President's take on gay issues and how he really feels as I've been telling America all along. The man's business is about CIVIL RIGHTS and not about PREACHING AND JUDGING/PASSING JUDGEMENT ON PEOPLE. He clearly says in his gay views just what is actually RIGHT. Link and excerpt:

Gay Rights

•Journey not complete until gays treated like anyone else. (Jan 2013)

•Opposes CA Prop. 8, one-man-one-woman marriage. (Jul 2008)

•Decisions about marriage should be left to the states. (Oct 2007)

•Gay marriage is less important that equal gay rights. (Aug 2007)
•Gay rights movement is somewhat like civil rights movement. (Aug 2007)
•Let each denominations decide on recognizing gay marriage. (Jul 2007)
•Pass ENDA and expand hate crime legislation. (Mar 2007)

•Opposes gay marriage; supports civil union & gay equality. (Oct 2006)
•Marriage not a human right; non-discrimination is. (Oct 2004)
•Gays should not face discrimination but should not marry. (Oct 2004)
•Include sexual orientation in anti-discrimination laws. (Jul 1998)

INTELLIGENT PEOPLE NOT ONLY READ THE BIBLE, THEY 'STUDY' IT AND RECEIVE A PROPER UNDERSTANDING OF IT. Being gay is in the Bible and I've posted links to scripture on it. However, providing that people ask for FORGIVENESS AND CHANGE THEIR PATHS FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, they'll be just fine. It's between them and the Lord...not them and the President. Forgiveness isn't specific to sin, either. It's period and here's my proof:

Speedy, this is why no one wants to party with us. We 'promote' TRUTH while they 'contend' with it and use the President as a prop for their judging and racism. Thanks for accommodating me, Speedy. Time to cultivate more TRUTH AND COMMON SENSE elsewhere, buddy!!
