Can someone please explain to me why the United States government is still allowing universities to bring exchange students from Middle Eastern countries into this country?

This is perplexing.  Maybe I'm just not smart enough to understand why.

Special interest groups paying government officials (lobbyists), and the ACLU's influence.
I guess you don't even have to be american to have the ACLU help you.

I forgot to mention that too many people would cry "profiling".

They would rather hold up a line of people entering the gates in an airport, frisking an 80 year old woman who looks irish or some other anglo looking person, than to be blamed for profiling. It's a joke.
