i could write it, but it would be a comedy, and it would take me a while. I've redone my website. Go to www.dr-ew.com. I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff. Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

Believe me I have thought about it and many people have suggested the same thing!! I dont know about a comedy but definetly an incredible story....as the woman from the lottery told me they have had many bizarre circumstances surrounding winning tickets but none like this one and the fact that it is the largest unclaimed lottery ticket in the history of the game in Illinois makes it even more interesting....you have to know my ex-husband to appreciate this......leave it to him to have the largest unclaimed lottery ticket in Illinois....that is so classic for him!!!

Very entertaining thread. I hate that I'm just now reading it. At times it was difficult keeping up with who was mad at who. It was starting to feel like I was at a WWF wrestling match. I don't know the current status of this story, but I for one believe that you (gbjm04) are telling the truth as you know it. I just hope your ex isn't playing a trick on you. I hope you get to claim a share of the jackpot and are able to live happily ever after. That would be a fairy-tale ending...

Thank you TX_MEGA_PLayer for your post :)....and you are correct in what you wrote. The are several reason I dont believe it to be a trick is but the most compelling one for me is the fact that my brother flew up from where he lives (Puerto Rico) to Chicago last summer and validated that the ticket was authentic by comparing it with a illinois lottery ticket he bought. My brother has been extremely successful for the past 25 years as a paper broker...specializing in bank security paper. He tested the ticket for security markings

Wow, I lost track of this thread for a while, and didn't realize the 30 days had passed.
GBJ, did you wind up filing against the lottery, or did you get another extension? Or does it turn out that once you start the claim process there's not really any more deadline, and it's just however long the court processes take?
Hope you win. It'd be nice if LP had a $1 million+ winner.

Hey Bingo :)....yes the 30 days has passed very quickly for me :(....but according to the woman I have been dealing with at the lottery office since last year, if I can get a judge to order the lottery to pay they will have to pay me...regardless of the 30 days being passed as I filed the claim within the year deadline. The major problem is this...I cant get an attorney to take the case on a contingency because it is such a long shot....so if anyone knows an attorney interested please email me with the details....I have nothing to lose at this point...it looks like Ive probally lost 14 million!!! Any help, even at this late stage would be greatly appreciated!! Good luck to everyone and God bless!!
