did anyone notice under the page showing comparisions that they put the "mega" where the super lotto is, and vice-versa..

i honestly don't think they'll change anything major in the structure..!

I saw the same report as Cashonly. http://www.lottoreport.com/2updates.htm

I have no idea how accurate it is though. I personally am not holding my breath that they will have the foresight to change the game until at least a year of poor sales due to low jackpots.

I agree. The report looks shabby with no source.

It's not a mistake, the sixth ball in the California lottery is called the Mega ball.

True, but they showed Mega Millions having 6 balls straight representing numbers. They should have created a picture just like they did for Super Lotto, which is 5 numbers + 1 number.

0 0 0 0 0 + 0 would've been more accurate.

Yeah if Mega were a 6 +1 game with the same numbers it would be slightly more than 1 billion to one. Rather a dramatic change. I'm hoping for something between 160-190 million.

what were the odds of the PA's old keystone jackpot?

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

I don't see them making major changes in the game's structure. Increasing the overall odds will cause a disproportionate loss in the game's aggregate revenues as players migrate to their border states for PowerBall tickets.

More likely, in my opinion, would be the introduction of the Megaplier feature in order to increase sales.

Come, Pinky; we must prepare for tomorrow night...

Keystone Jackpot was like 1 in 36 million.

The megaplier is a poor sales change compared to a matrix change that would result in larger jackpots.

I prefer a matrix change, THEN try to get Megaplier game-wide.

Can someone post who said anything will change. I just went over the news releases and didn't see anyting regarding any changes. It's nice that the price won't change but I'm beginning to doubt they are serious about changing the game matrix.

Dvdiva:  You must have missed it, because it is in one of the LP news stories, and has Buddy R. from Maryland (MM President) stating that there will definitely be changes.  He doesn't say what those changes will be.

Adding NY and Ohio to the Big Game was about as dramatic.
