A Spaniard has won a six-year court battle to claim the equivalent of about $50,000 US from a winning lottery ticket that went through a washing machine and came out in pieces.

That's a long time.
too bad for that guy...he probably spent 50,000 on paying his lawyers
"almost impossible" for them to have come from different tickets.
WOW, either this guy can do magic with Elmers Glue, or he really is innocent
I hope clear glue.
washing machines & tumble dryers can also be used for drawing numbers
A radio station in my area did just that in 1999.
