Tennessee Lottery: Tonight's Tenn. Lotto 5 Jackpot: $1 MillionThe Tennessee Lotto 5 jackpot climbed to an estimated $1 million after Wednesday night’s drawing.
“Excitement is building about the first in-state million-dollar jackpot,” said Rebecca Paul, CEO and President of the Tennessee Lottery.
“When jackpots reach record levels, we raise even more dollars for education.”
In addition to the $1 million jackpot estimated for Friday night’s Lotto 5 drawing, the Powerball jackpot continues to swell. Since there was no grand-prize winner in that game after last night’s drawing, the jackpot is estimated at $83 million for Saturday night’s drawing.
Although no player matched all five numbers correctly in Wednesday night’s Lotto 5 drawing, 108 players matched four numbers to win $189 each, while 3,084 players matched three numbers correctly and will collect $10 each.
In the Powerball drawing, also held on Wednesday night, there were 33,105 winners who purchased tickets in Tennessee.
Lotto 5 drawings are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 10:34 p.m. CST (11:34 p.m. EST); Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. CST (10:59 p.m. EST).
