I'm gonna go on the record right now- If I win this jackpot I'm donating several million of it to the Red Cross / Katrina relief.

I feel so bad for the poor people there. I do not need the money as bad as they need basic necessities.

I think that anyone who reads this post should contribute something.  A lot of little amounts can add up to have a big impact on the suffering in hurricane ravaged states.

I will also pledge to make a large donation if I win. As for small donations, at this time it will have to be very small. I have to donate to my rent, my credit card, etc. But the area affected is in my thoughts.

I'm contributing nothing.  So sad, too bad.

The damn govt liberal and conservative wackos you all elected, especially these folks now in trouble,  need to fix this mess with my money I pay in taxes and insurance.

Get ready for major price increases in everything.  You will be contributing soon enough in higher premiums and income taxes. 

This country has got to get rid of all these career idiots in suits. Quit voting for the incumbents and get real leadership by not making elected offices a career.  Just a contribution to your nation.

It is always easier to complain and be bitter; that way your only difficult decision is about what can I complain about tonight. It's always easier to be a critic than a creater. That's why critics accomplish little, and when they accomplish something, its for selfish reasons.

I am all for helping people in crisis. In fact, I contribute 28% of my pay each week to the government so they can do just that on my behalf.  I can't see why I should give more on top of that, especially in these days of extremely high housing and gas prices when I need every dollar to prevent my own crisis. If the government chooses to send my money to Iraq and Israel instead of being ready to help those in serious need in the US, I guess the victims will have to lash out against the government.  But I gave at the office.  

I just read in the paper that ExxonMobil,  which made a profit of $25.3 billion last year,  is giving a whopping $2 million to hurricane relief. When I win the jackpot, I'll calculate what percentage $2 million is of $25.3 billion and give the same percentage. Oh wait, the $25.3 billion is just their profits, not their total income, so I'll have to calculate what percentage $2 million is of their total income, since the jackpot would be my total income.

Yikes... Drywall seems very angry or bitter or something.

When mega millions rolls tonight I hope that it is a big rollover. at least 155 million big ones for tuesday.

I thank god that I did not move down there.  Those people had advance warning why did they not pack up what they could and head inland? They knew it was a cat4-5 storm and that they lived in a BOWL.  Yes I will help by donating my change jar but certainly not to the Red Cross(remember 9/11).  I do know that if god should look on me and allow me to win the game I could donate more, but first I have to buy some gas at $3.09 a gallon to get to the headquarters to collect my money(may take a few days to get the money to fill up, so I will collect about a week after the win!).  My prayers are with thos that were dimwitted enough to stay behind.

I've only been playing $2. I'll be increasing my bets soon if it continues to roll.
