None of the tickets sold for Tuesday's $150 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The next drawing will be Friday. There were eight second-prize winners from Tuesday night's drawing: 2 from Massachusetts, 2 from Michigan, 1 from New Jersey, 1 from Ohio, and 2 from Texas. Each ticket matched all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $250,000. Also, 40 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. The winning numbers from Tuesday's drawing were 1, 8, 27, 31, and 50. The Mega Ball number was 40. The Texas Megaplier was 3. Reverse the current jackpot.... make it $271 mill and that's when I predict it'll be hit. I would agree. The odds have gone so far out of wack, the numbers of players if going to have to grow (to double what it is now?) so that enough posibilities are covered. I would like to see it break the current record. That would great. WOuld be better if I broke the record - heheheh.

Another $20,000,000 increase only. Whats going on here. I thought for sure it would start increase more. Brad The reality of tougher odds (due to the recent changes to MM) has finally sunk in and lower participation (than expected) from the newly added State (California). Take a look at Ticket Sales by State for 09/06/2005 and you'll see what I mean. (For example: NJ - Population 8 Million - Ticket Sales $4 Million, CA - Population 35 Million - Ticket Sales $4 Million) Do you feel Lucky? Play the Mega Million Lottery!

Brad I think people are a little wiped out by gas prices - not going out or spending the casual dollar as easily as before, and also distracted and stressed by the hurricane and flood damage.
