At least two did, but it doesn't impact the bonus money, only the base $200K. What I would like to know is, have all of the 49 stepped forward? Or did the lottery make money on those who threw away one of the sub-tier winners.

I only trust myself - and that's a questionable choice

Chew:
AFAIK if any of the second-prizes are not claimed, the 200k base prize would revert to the MUSL member it was sold in, with the rest given back to each of the 29 lotteries in proportion of sales.

AH, if I ever found the bottle with the Genie in it, I would wish that, for 24 hours, I could write all the laws in all the states, and they would be permanent laws! Guess who would get the leftovers!

I guessing that we'll be seeing about 40 more stories of the second prizes winners. Heh.
More publicity than one grand prize winner. It'd be nice if they applied the bonus pool feature to each drawing.

Why? It would impact the publicity around the big number; and the people who get in on the game don't do it until there are big money's in the jackpot. The average player I see in the stores doesn't even know what second place is about. Why promote second place, when you can promote the monster dream and double the sales - thus double the take home bonus at the end of the year?

I would have liked to win second prize. Maybe MM needs a bonus second prize as well.
