Sad but death is a fact of life. They sounded a little flakey, almost like they didn't know what to do after winning. I will have no problem there. Pay off my families' mortages a little good presents at Christmas and open my art school and bookstore.

I'm not sure myself what I would do after winning. Let me win first.

I know Cash only
First thing___take Cash option. That was easy LOL
Second thing_________????????????????????????

According to the dictionary It is separate

The second thing I would do is take the cash. And the third LOL

At least they knew to take lump sum. You don't know what will happen over the next 30 years.

Yeah, that way you pay half in taxes right away and lose the rest in a poor investment.

I Agree!        You are DAMN right !!!!!!!

Smart lottery winners form trust to claim their winnings.  They send an attorney to the lottery headquarters to claim the prize in trust, so that ONLY the name of the trust is revealed.  And they tell NO ONE, especially relatives.

If you ever win a lottery and you are single, the only person you should ever marry is someone who was truly in love with you BEFORE you won the jackpot!

I have a Personal Needs Trust. I would make sure my money would be invested wisely.
