Ronice Turner, of Han Avenue, is charged with fifth-degree larceny in the October incident. She turned herself in at headquarters after learning there was a warrant for her arrest, police said. She was released on a promise to appear Tuesday in Bridgeport Superior Court. The victim left her purse at Shaw's on Oct. 23, and Turner, a former employee there, stole $291 and additional lottery tickets valued at $42.50 from the purse before turning it in to the lost-and-found department, police said.
