I'm surprised that they didn't institute that rule...I call it the "Strip Club Rule"...LOL

I did notice it was mainly Food Lions and Petro Expresses.

I'm surprised that they even suggested it.  Talk about bigots.  You know what neighborhoods have more churches in Charlotte don't you?  Some communities build one big huge church and some communities build 10 little churches.  That would have eliminated a lot of people from getting terminals.

I put together a database of all the churches in Charlotte for a project once and poor people have more churches in their communities.

There are more Food lions stores in poor neighborhoods.  It keeps the minorities in one place and to be controlled.  I was wondering how they were going to handle that.    Some state lotteries rule against lottery terminals being in grocery stores. 

I don't even shop at Food Lion. 

I don't either...Harris Teeter for me. 

Yeah, that is true...I guess that's why it's not surprising that they have one over by where I am...I live in Cotswold, about 2 miles from Grier Heights...it is pretty hypocritical when they say they want to help out, but don't want the poor to get more poor. Yet, they seem to find a way to shower the poor neighborhoods with lottery terminals. I am lucky that I have been blessed :)

Remember that scene in I think it was Colors where Laurence Fishburn said that you ever notice they put a liquor store and pawn shop on every corner in the poor neighborhoods? Sure seems that way here too.
