Sort of. The lucky millionaire claimed his winnings after the Feb. 15 Classic Lotto 47 drawing but still wants to remain anonymous. Garth Moreau knows, but he's not telling. Moreau is manager of the VG's Food Center, 710 S. Mill St., where the winning ticket was purchased. "He's definitely a regular customer," Moreau said. "I know he lives around here, but I'm not sure he's a Clio resident." The winner saw the six winning numbers — 18, 28, 31, 35, 41 and 47 — on TV during the live drawing but didn't realize he had the winning ticket until he called a state lottery hot line the next day, according to the Michigan Lottery Web site. He plans to use the prize money to invest and purchase a new home and car, the Web site said. Flint Journal We'd love to see your comments here! No...but he/she is a He. (that narrows it down! LOL) Sometimes "he" is used irregardless of gender. Same with "him", "his", etc.

I suppose that makes sense. Is that like everything you can "ride" (hehehe) is a "she"?

3/6/2006 Not that it's important, but I'd say the winner is a Man. The owner of the store uses the male gender throughout his description of the winner, even when the owner could have said..."they" or "the winner" as a reference...just an observation....... "He's definitely a regular customer," Moreau said. "I know he lives around here, but I'm not sure he's a Clio resident "He plans to use the prize money to invest and purchase a new home and car, the Web site said."

Congrats to Him and or Her lol !! in MI they let you remain anon for State Lotteries...a few years ago, they had an incident where a stalker hunted down a winner and it did not end well. always, if you win, get an atty and have the Trust Accept the funds. MOney makes you VERY attractive. Tonight's my Night!!!

In KS you have that right, too. I think you should have the choice. Too many worms coming out of the wood work that could make your life hell. Rather just take it quietly.

As long as I get the money immediately - if not sooner - I couldn't care less if they publish my name or burn my name with the Saturday trash. Get money, have money. Either way, I'm going to create a new sun with my smile!

What "Live Drawing"????????????? When 6 typed numbers were displayed after the D3&4? You call THAT a drawing? Shame on you! The state lottery hotline (800-822-8888) is a joke. If you try to call anytime from 45 minutes to about 3 1/2 hours after the drawing (or the selection, as the case may be), you'll get a busy signal. If you're watching the drawings/selections on TV, wouldn't youn have your ticket with you to see if your numbers match, especially if you had QP's? Michiganians are a little too fruity for me. I need to move away to a state that has balls.
