specnc I feel the same way...since Charlotte has the most outlets in the state, I see the signs everywhere..it's like being in a completely different town or state. I can't wait for Powerball...I can very literally walk 5 blocks down the street to get Powerball tickets from now on instead of going to Fort Mill...it's great. MIKE I think they will have to offer all the games, P3 P4 & P5 because people will still drive their rear-ends down to SC to get those tickets if they don't. That's too much potential money lost to SC & VA if they abandon any of those games. Most players are daily numbers players anyway. It's too much of a risk for them to exclude anything at this point. On a side note...I'm sure Virginia is ecstatic because we have PB now...no more long drives for them. The North Carolina Education Lottery - so much a joke that here are their mascots:

Over $10 million in sales for the first day, that is the current estimate. So much for any plans to stop the lottery in court.
Only spent $5 today; 2 NCELs, 1 Tic Tac Toe and 1 Blackjack. Won a free ticket on one of the NCELs. Felt so weird buying tickets without having to go to Myrtle Beach. spnc1980,the appeal to stop the lottery from existing in the future has been filed.Orr realized he could not stop the lottery from starting but, hopes to end it with his case in the NC Supreme Court.Let's hope they can read the same tax law definition as Judge Hight.

Ladyluck He was from Newton, so that is correct. Not bad. I imagine another one is on the way. It would be nice if it were me. I could pay of my grad school loans & my car with $68,000 & I'd be almost completely debt free!
