Well as I have posted before EVEN some of the SMARTEST people can be scammed! My Roomate is a BRILLIANT GIrl and as well as myself ... when she got her letter JUST LIKE THIS she wanted SO badley to believe that it was real. I did tell her that I felt that it was a scam but because of that check and ITS A REAL ONE she thought ok what is the harm it could be real! She cashed it and then the check bounced and BAMN it was all her fault. This sounds like the same people , same letter they just went by Lotto Lore then Just look out and be careful, they are convincing

We see this over and over and over..... I wish the Network news, USA today and local papers would make this a headline story so some of these people that don't have internet access will know not to fall for these scams ... Sad, but true : As long as people have money, there will always be predators looking to steal it. Sadly man has not evolved very far from Caveman Days: We still have folks taking advantage of other folks. Hey,that is not cool.Don't you watch those GEICO commercials?Yes,we are still around!
Of Course! How could you miss them?
Now, Go Back In Your Cave! What about my roast duck and mango salsa?
You Can Have It To Go! Hands out big wooden clubs to NCpicks and Raven.........Puting my money down on Raven!!! LOL!

First the check "clears", then it "unclears". If the banks themselves had to eat the loss, they would take better care of this type of thing. On the "getting the money back" part, after it gets sent to Canada or wherever, a big chunk is wired to Romania or some other "uncooperative" place. After all, the scammer is a boost to the local economy (where he will spend the money). The authorities there have ZERO incentive to send the money back here. These are not all 1 man operations, they are often parts of international crime rings.
In neo-conned Amerika, bank robs you. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store, not a govnoment agency.

well the good thing that came from the scam that got us is that NOW there isnt one that gets over on is now infact we usually will taunt them a little and get as much info as possible and then contact the FBI Scam line and report as much as we can .. its actually really entertaining of course AFTER you wise up but not the 1st time... I dont know maybe its some demented way of EXPENSIVE entertainment after you been through it HAHA
