I would like the legislature to explain the difference between "on-line gambling" and "day trading " on the stock market.  IMO they're interchangeable.  But in reading the wording of the Frist bill, I saw no mention of the second type of "On-Line Gambling."  I smell law suit.

What's this? Forward-looking lawmakers who can see the benefits of regulating a well-established emerging market??

This plan is the most sensible one I've heard yet. Since it satisfies the need most free-state governments have to stick a finger or two into every pie, while at the same time allowing the people to exercise their free will, I don't see how American lawmakers can stand by and allow this to happen; their constituents might begin to get ideas and insist on having a voice in their own government.

Severe economic and punitive sanctions are called for here, and should be imposed against the British Crown immediately. This brazen aggression cannot go unanswered and, now that I've had several seconds to carefully consider our options, it's obvious that sanctions and embargoes will not be effective; I can see no alternative to an armed invasion of England in order to straighten them out.

Britain has been our closest ally for decades, and then they go and pull something like this.

What's the world coming to? It almost seems like they don't even know we're the ones in charge. I mean, seriously; the stones on those Brits!

Come, Pinky; we must prepare for tomorrow night...

Jim
