With no single ticket holder matching all five main numbers and the two Lucky Star numbers, the £123 million (US$233 million, €182 million) jackpot, which had been rolled over for an 11th time, was shared between 20 people across Europe.
France had four winners, Portugal and Spain had three, Ireland had two while Belgium had one.
If there had been a single winner, they would have claimed the world's biggest lottery prize.
At peak time on Friday before the draw, EuroMillions sales were running at 2.7 million tickets an hour in the UK with £47 million raised for good causes in Britain over the last 12 weeks.
The previous biggest single winner was grandmother Dolores McNamara, from County Limerick, in the Republic of Ireland, who won £77 million in July 2005.
The biggest Euro Millions jackpot of £126 million was shared between two winners from France and one from Portugal in February.
Switzerland, Austria, and Luxembourg are the other three countries that are involved in the Euro Millions lottery draw.
