I personally look at the scratch-off vending machines as a very good thing, because there is less of a chance that some less-than-scrupulous employee has gone through the rolls trying to "micro-scratch" the codes to pull out winners.

Another good point...I guess there are pros and cons to this. I wish they would do this more in South Carolina now that I live over the border.

    I first saw lottery scratch vending machines in New York.  I wouldn't mind if Louisiana had them, it would save having to wait when there's a long line for them.
