Sounds like Alannis lyrics.. when I had 5 of 5 I found it 2 weeks later but for such a relatively small prize there would have been very little mentioned about it if I had not found it for a year. The reason this ticket is still unclaimed is most likely due to there being hardly any media coverage. 1010WINS maybe mentioned it, but nothing on the TV news so far. The person who played is probably not a Lottery Post member or reader. Other theories I have is that the missing ticket:

- may have been checked against the wrong day's numbers, i.e. the previous drawing, and not matching, was tossed away.

- may have dropped and blown away eventually sucked up by a street sweeper.

- maybe the winner DID read Lottery Post about JW and got scared their life would be Hell and "torn up the ticket".

I am curious also about the store itself, have they asked their regular players about it, do they have security tape showing who may have played it, do they have any signs posted on the store about it? Anyone who may have played for that drawing needs to be alerted! Although I think the deadline has passed as of right now so I mean most of this in the past tense.

Reality check. It was a quickpick? It was an average lottery player? Could they have handled the extra change? If a tree falls and there are only bears there, does anyone hear it? Ignorance is bliss? And for us, that care,  after taxes, less than $10M not $19M.  Easy come, easy go.  I know that if I ever get lucky and hit for a taxman noticeable amount,  it is going to hurt.  It will take the buzz off the win big time, imagine winning for eg. $250,000.00 and waving good-bye to $90,000 off the bat. For petes' sake they want taxes after $600.00! Anyway, LOL jarasan
