"This error occurred when the vendor entered an incorrect draw date identification number," a lottery news release said Wednesday.
I'm a little confused. When I buy a ticket for any lottery game, isn't the ticket always for the next draw unless I buy some advanced play tickets?
I guess "vendor" isn't the same as retailer? So they are saying that you might have won something, but the number was programmed for a different draw date? This is a little over my head technologically.
I just hope this doesn't start happening in Florida. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes, although the draws aren't computerized AFAIK. I just didn't like the way they worded their last survey.
"To the best of your knowledge, which of these two methods does the Florida Lottery use?"
Please keep voting. It's still on the FL home page.
