I was in store this afternoon educating those pick 3 players.

One of our regulars who was dropping $50 or more per day on both draws was in there.  He, too, was convincing others that they might as well save their money and go to GA or KY and play multiple draws for they would have a better chance.

I have printed the news about the lottery and made copies to pass out.

I can only do so much, but one thing for sure, this little town will soon know to stay away from TN lottery on pick3, pick 4, and lotto 5.

They can high five as much as they want,  We AREN't fools here in Ardmore.  They will see the low sales from this area.

Ardmore takes on a lot of the AL players.. They too are being educated to the fullest.  There are some friend of mine who work the other stores in Ardmore.  They , too are educating people.

Now if the other cities in the state would stand up and say, "Hey we aren't fools!" but then again,  some are.

YES WE CAN

I wish more of the stores in TN would do this. There are a lot of people who have no idea of what is going on with the lottery because they are not regular players. They just here about some friend of a friend who won such and such amount of money on the lottery and just want to try their luck. The thing is that friend of a friend who had won that money isn't playing the lottery like they used to because they know what has happened with it. I still go to the store to play my $2.00 Powerball play and see people who have never played before trying to figure out how to fill out the cards for Cash 3 and Cash 4. They will ask the clerk and he/she will look to me, knowing I know how to do it because I played regularly, and I will tell them how to do it then tell them that I used to play and win a lot but stopped back in July when they switched from balls to a computer. Then I tell them about a site where they can play online. I tell them that I wouldn't be giving the state of TN anymore of my lottery money on games that I helped get here but had no decision on changes made to it. I think all that just goes in one ear and right out the other until I get to the payouts of playing online. The payouts always catches their attention.

I hope when the new politicians get in office they change the online gambling laws that were attached to the security bill because that was the only way they would have passed it. If they could get taxes off of the winnings that would be fine with me. I personally think all the government is about is money and I think they would make more money taxing lottery winnings then going after online gambling sites and those who transfer money to them.

I love doubles and remember, it's just a game!!!!!!
