Maybe so, especially with inflation; even though the lottery does increase its annuity payment each year. However the lottery does pay out $230 million either way, but just doesn't like to say that 25% and more will go to the greedy IRS.

    Anyways if you are smart about the way you use your money, you can practically get it all back during tax season.
