I love this promotion. I couldn't wait for them to run it again. I just wish it ran longer.

If the number 10 is not drawn as the multiplier during April, the promotion will continue until it is drawn.

it would suck for them if it is drawn immediately...they want the promo to last for at least 2 or 3 draws...anyway if you dont have the right numbers there is nothing in your ticket that will get multiplied by 10X....but i will give it a shot

I was under the impression the promo would last the entire month, regardless of whether it was drawn or not. It would only stop on a draw of it if it happened to not be drawn the month of the promo.

And so wouldn't it be best for everyone it was drawn immediately?

I may buy a couple of tickets and Powerplay them every once in a while this month.

you are right the promo does last the entire april.....the post on Lp threw me off...this is from Pb website:

For a limited time, a special feature is being offered on Power Play that could multiply all non-jackpot Powerball prizes up to 10 times!  Power Play purchasers can now win up to $2 million during this promotional period. The Power Play feature normally allows players the chance to multiply their non-jackpot Powerball winnings 2, 3, 4 or 5 times for an additional $1 wager. The Power Play wheel, spun just prior to the Powerball drawing, determines the multiplier for that drawing. Starting with the Wednesday, April 2nd drawing, one of the number 5's on the wheel will be replaced with a 10. If the 10 is selected, the non-jackpot prizes won for that drawing will be multiplied “ 10X ” for players with the Power Play feature. The “ 10X ” multiplier will remain on the wheel through the Powerball drawing of Wednesday, April 30th. The Power Play still only costs $1, but during this special promotional offering, all prizes with the Power Play option could be multiplied up to 10 times!

When will Mega Millions get off its dead ass, and do something innovative like this. They have had enough time to study to results of what a megaplier would be in the game, thanks to Texas. It's just frustrating that they haven't made a move to upgrade.

I'm not a powerball player but I will buy one with the powerplay each draw in April. I think its worth it.

Would POWERBALL players be willing to E-mail the powers-that-be, bombarding them with this request. As far as they know, a shot at the April promotion is all we want. Sometimes, people have to ask for what they want, since we are spending our money.
