It's not like these people were asked to memorize a long set of numbers they got 2 days ago. They played the same 7 numbers, every week for 10 years. Big difference. Odds are they would know it by now. Ahhh, but their memory loss resulted in a twenty seven million dollar jackpot. Pretty good memory lapse. Memorize numbers and loose. Don't memorize numbers and win $27M. Hummm. Which option worked out?

I can see how you could lose numbers. I use the same playslip every week. I check the numbers by entering them in a lottery tracking program and liet it tell me if I won. If I lost the play slip and couldn't get home to copy the numbers out of the program I would have to do what they did. I don't memorize my numbers for the same reason mentioned earlier with cell phones, why memorize when I can push a button. Lazy, I know, but what the heck.

I doubt if it was a memory problem when you play the same numbers for 10 years. My guess is that one day they forgot their card and played a quick pic and the they got a hit of some sort, so they road the QP lucky streak and gave up on their numbers....anyway here they are with 27 million on a QP,,,and all we want know is how they could "loose" their regular numbers....

Etobicoke? Where the heck is that? Is it the place just north of Diet Etobicoke?
The solution would be to have your program and the data it needs on a Pocket PC, as I have mine. As long as I (clunk!) remember to bring the Pocket PC with me! Or on a laptop PC, but Pocket PC is more convenient when you are filling betslips on the coffee-stained counter of the ELE7VEN.

Wouldn't surprise me, I'm sure that the lottery commission likes the winner to have a "good story" since it'd get more attention than just someone won, came in, answered a few questions and really had nothing of value to really say. With odds like 1 in 175,711,536 how can I lose?!
You can't predict random.

No one believes this story because every avid lottery player knows its a lie, no advid lottery player ever forgets his numbers, who ever wrote this article needs tp be shot! i didn't want the person that wrote the article shot, i wanted the dingbat couple shot for lying .. but now that you say it, that's believable .. but the couple could easy come up and dispute that, no? i just think the couple either did not play those number for 10years [maybe 10 days] and forgot or not as frequently as they would have us believe, maybe once a year [that would be believable] but like you mentioned, if you are an avid player, you [allow me to get ebonics/hell i'm half black so it's cool] 'YOU AIN'T EVER NOT NEVER EVER GONNA LOSE YO DIGITS'
