Have you ever seen or heard news reports about lottery winners becoming broke? Can you imagine? They have no money left!
Many lottery winners, especially those who take a lump sum are now poor. How could that possibly be? Many people think that if they could just win the lottery, their whole life would change for the best. They think that once they win all that cash, then all their problems will disappear. Therefore, week after week they buy lottery tickets, hoping to win. It doesn't matter if they had picked the lump sum or the annuity, if they're stupid with the money they're going to end up back where they started or probably worse. There's been many lottery winners who took the annuity and ended up selling it a company for significantly less than it's worth just to cover their bills because they over spent or for some reason thought they paid all the taxes on it to going along with that over spending. The money isn't the issue, the issue is the person who won choosing ignorance (possibly laziness) over educating themselves to handle their windfall properly or working with the right people while still remaining involved and again, educating themselves so they can at least follow what the people you've employed are saying/doing so you can choose to or not to go along with it instead of being hands off and letting them take YOUR money and putting it into bad investments. Because at the end of the day, it's your choice and the only one to blame is the person the check was made out to.
Oh and yeah, then there's the ones who were media whores and brought unneeded attention upon themselves.
Anyway, congrats the winner(s), I hope they enjoy life, make the over all right decisions with it and have to never worry again about money. With odds like 1 in 175,711,536 how can I lose?!
You can't predict random.

Congrats to the winner(s), I bet it is an individual. The pathetic webmasters of the junk DC lottery "new" website have yet to comment where the ticket was sold. It wasn't me..............darney! But you know what? There is always Saturday, $20 million ain't chump change. What is your conceptual continuity? __________________________________________________

Geez Louise, I've never heard such depressing comments after a jackpot win of this size. Did everyone's Prozac prescription run out at once?
Congrats to the winner or winners! Nice to hear about a win from D.C. I was thinking the same thing. Congrats to the winner(s)! I am sure they are very happy at this moment. "No one remembers the person who almost climbed the mountain, only the person who eventually gets to the top."

Negative? Where? I am factual and just bored of the same old line of crap. You don't know what negative means obviously.
