An apologetic Koprnicky told the Sun last week he had "made a mistake and assumed something, it just wasn't there."
May if Koprnicky did some jail time, he might learn the seriousness of making a formal claim to the lottery commission that he as part of a group had an agreement to share the lottery winnings of someone who had never heard of him. He probably thought by including the group, members of the groups would back his scam for a share of the winnings even if it included lying in court.
