The Illinois Lottery held its fifth-ever Millionaire Raffle drawing yesterday — the second on Halloween — which instantly created four millionaires.

The complete list of winning numbers for the raffle can be found at Lottery Post's Illinois Lottery Results page (www.lotterypost.com/results/il).

The raffle drawing was held on October 31st — Halloween — a day that traditionally finds kids getting all the treats.  But the four new millionaires and hundreds of other prize winners from yesterday's drawing got some much bigger treats.

In addition to four $1 million top prizes, the Halloween Millionaire Raffle also awards five prizes of $100,000 and 500 prizes of $1,000.

Millionaire Raffle is a raffle-style game offered by the Illinois Lottery, with a limited number of $20 tickets. For this drawing 500,000 tickets were made available for purchase.

With so few tickets available, Millionaire Raffle offers the best odds of any Illinois Lottery game to win $1 million.

Unlike other lotto-style games, the only way to win a prize is to match one of the six-digit numbers drawn exactly. Matching some of the correct digits or matching a number in a different order does not qualify for a prize.

All prize levels are paid out in cash, including the four jackpot prizes.

Winning tickets must be redeemed within one year of the drawing date.

Well, as usual I can't find my ticket number that I wrote down somewhere. My daughter picked up a ticket for me and I see there was a $1000 winner at the store she bought it from so there might be a chance anyway.

Well, congratulations to the 4 new millionaires anyway!

LOL I love what you write,I know I will laugh.Great personality,Now if I was in charge of a lottery office, my state would be different to all others.I would give everyone a chance to win money not just a select few. There would'nt be 4 winners of a Million. It would be 40 winners at 100,000,or something to that effect..maybe 80 at 50,000...More people would play more x more.....These lottery scratch offs too...I know the reasoning behind Tennessee Millionaire Tickets, but thats like looking in a ocean for a mermaid...it's not going to happen.I have my theory about it all...But yes congradulations to all winners..

I like your idea of the multiple 100k winners instead of the 4 millionaires.

Wish somebody would do that with a raffle sometime.

Michigan does it all the time.  They have what I consider to be the best mix of raffles.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm gonna check that out. I wish TN would get a little more creative with that but I'm not holding my breath.
