I think it should up to the person whether they want to play online or not.  You can easily get ripped off in a casino just as much as you can online.  Remember you never beat the 'House'  trust me I have friends who deal in casinos.  

 Rigging games like roulette does nothing for a casino because they odds are already heavily stacked against you whether its online or in person.  Black Jack would be a different story.  There are sites set up to monitor rogue activity, one of them being Casinomeister - they also put up a list of trusted sites.  Again many games like Keno, Roulette are so heavily favored against you that casinos don't have to necessarily rig them to pull a profit from.  It's games like slots that you need to watch out for and thats whether you go in person or online.  And as far as lotto, there are a few instances where people have been ripped off from their state lottery.  All in all it should be left up to the consumer.  I made a nice profit in 2004, 2005 playing online pick 3 and would like to go back to playing it.

   Maybe online casino's can program their website's to rip people off, but to punish banks and credit card companies is just not right. They shouldn't have to police every account..It's costly.

   And we don't live in a socialist country..Or a 'dictatorship'. We live as a free people in a 'Republic'! If the Government doesn't like it, tough! They do a lot of things I don't like! But unfortunately, I'm outvoted!

   They should punish the people creating the online gambling sites. that rip people off....And if the online gambling sites are foreign- they should get the foreign authorities to issue 'Warnings' and monitor the online gambling sites themselves. And as the complaints come in, the police of that foreign country move in.

    But for the U.S. online gambling sites, that offer sports betting and other subjects, its a little harder to rip people off. You'd know right away..

    If You bet over, pointwise, and the total points for the game is 'over'- you win. It's as simple as that.

If you bet a team to win, and it wins- you know you won! The casino can't change the outcome of a game- like they can rig 'blackjack'. And in sports, you have more than one source to check results.

The whole concept of government taxation or regulation of online gambling is rotten at it's core. It stems from the now accepted practice and tradition of the government confiscating money earned by private citizens. We are afraid of what the government will do to us if we don't give them what they say we "owe them." They think and we accept that they get a cut of every dollar we earn or otherwise come by. It's really outrageous when you think about it. They want to appear to be protecting us from illicit gambling scams when in reality it's all about the money. Everything will be A-OK as long as they get a piece of the action with no investment or risk whatsoever.

And we'll be happy to pay them off, to in effect bribe them to "allow" us to play online. Why do we let them get away with this BS? Why do we keep electing these idiots? I wish Americans would wake up and vote out every single one of these pompous elitists and let them find out what it's like to live under their tyranny. Let them all go out and get real jobs and see what it's like to work for a living only to have a large portion of your earnings confiscated by idiots in government to fritter away on some ridiculous rat- hole socialist program.

It's time to clean house in this country. We can start by getting rid of all 535 of them in Washington DC. They are the cause of the mess were in. They created it. They have presided over it. They enact laws and prescribe measures for us and exclude themselves from the very burdens they place on us. This is our country. They are supposed to be doing what we say. How long will we put up with this?       

Of course, they had mininova cold-busted lickety-split, but these often crooked ***computer-controlled*** for those of you who opposed computerized drawings, they can linger on for another six months, and meantime you still can't legally buy out-of-state lottery tickets; it's even illegal to mail one to your aunt in another State! in fact it's technically illegal to buy one in another State and carry it back home with you! although there have been jackpot winners who did this.

Remember, all internet-based casinos are *computerized* and therefore you have *no idea* how their software picks winners/losers and of course they can track your win/loss so that to make sure you don't come out too far ahead!
