Traffic Cameras? LOL!!!
Here the the cameras are billed as traffic controls, to regulate the lights. To make things move along smoother with 'Science'.
I live I a small town and it is getting so that there is no ingress or egress without the watchful eye of the cameras. They do not save lives here; they monitor them. The first ones I saw go up were in a major city on a road that led directly to a new semiconductor chip plant built by China. Only one main road there.
If they are for traffic control as we are told, I see no correlation at intersections where one vehicle is waiting for a light to change. There is no automated improvement from these cameras. The amber alert signs also have cameras. If all this technology is for amber alerts, why not just come out and say it?
The number and frequency of cameras in England is astronomical. If one was traveling in an auto, there is no way you could do it without observation. Is this for more freedom or it's implied guarantees of freedom's ring?
Believe what you want about these “lifesavers”, the implied intent and application are two different things. But then again facts do not easily change conventional, popular and traditional views. It is too much for non-critical thinkers to view something outside of their comfort zone. Facts only confuse the fantasy. Everything you know to be true about this is wrong.
Does that twist you hat around or what?
