INDIANAPOLIS — The Hoosier Lottery's promotional RV has gone up in flames.

Lottery officials say a state worker picked up the recreational vehicle known as "Big Fun 1" from an Indianapolis repair shop Friday morning and drove it Hoosier Lottery headquarters.

As he was later driving it to a lottery distribution center, he smelled smoke. The worker pulled the RV over and fled to safety before it caught fire.

The vehicle had been gutted by flames by the time firefighters arrived. The lottery says the RV was a total loss, but an insurance damage estimate hasn't been completed.

Wow, sad to see a RV go up in flames, I hate to think how much the Hoosier Lottery players will have to pay for a new one.

Well, I hate to be the one to start a conspiracy theory (not really) but I believe there was evidence in that van linking so and so to such and such and now all the evidence has gone up in smoke. Either that or something is now gone and being attributed as "lost in the fire".

We need an investigation to see who authorized the van to be driven from here to there and what their connection is to the driver who "fled for his life" when he smelled something funny. What was in that van that ain't there no more?

This wouldn't be the first time them Indiana Hayseeds have dabbled in a little hanky panky with the lottery, would it?

In that picture, the RV looks like a 25ft Class A motor home which aren't manufactured any more.  A replacement may have to be custom built.
