I do not believe FL requires a press conference & yes what a mistake. I just wonder how many people 'really' know how they would react if they won a large amount of money? My husband & I talk about it & we still don't know what we would really do. You don't want to be greedy, yet you don't want every scam artist hunting you down. FL does have a lot of open record laws so I guess one can't remain anonymous (unless they don't cash the ticket). I believe Moore was greedy and probably would have sought him out anyway. I do agree a press conference was a huge mistake on his part, but evil is out there and all one really needs is your name. I have read a lot about people who have put themselves into ruins after winning large sums of money but this poor guy thought he was doing the right thing. As someone else said, he may have decided to cut her off ... who knows? I just feel awful for his family and children. I hope she doesn't get off with a plea bargain that would be ultimate injustice! How sad this whole story is ... R.I.P Abraham Shakespeare!

people  will  kil  you  for  anything  these  days  ....money  is  the  root  of  all  evil ....or  something  like  that  ..the  winner  is  in  love  and  over  come  with  happiness  and  befriends  someone  who  kills  him  !!!!!  and  so  it  goes  ..life  can  go  so  fast ..... your  but  is  being  sexed   one  secound ..... then  in  the  Corroners  office  the  next  day    all   in  the  blink  of  an  eye....

They definitely release your name, and from there it takes no effort at all for a predator to find out where you live. I just googled myself and right there is my address, age, income for any louse to use against me. Can you imagine if all of a sudden your name is in the news as the new multi-millionaire???

I think you need to have a certain mindset if you win big money and don't want to become a victim. You almost need to enter a witness protection type plan.

They are really trying to find his money ..there are several properties instead of just two.  I was there for about 3 weeks and it was on the news everyday.  It is like a treasure hunt.  Where did she hide it?  They are turning over every rock, leaf and twig to find it!   His sons deserve to be taken care of and whatever is left of his estate should go to them.  I just hope the lawyers representing them do them justice and not "unjustice"  afterall they are just little guys.

Without letting anything slip..there may more coming out of Florida..
