Here's the latest: The person who won $128 million after buying a Powerball ticket at the Uptown Bookstore in Highland Park last week will claim their prize on Friday. State lottery officials said the winner will be unveiled during a press conference at 1:30 p.m. in Lansing. you know... for that kind of prize money.... i dont care what people would think or say about where i bought the ticket. I'm the ones with millions and they are not. I hope the winner steps forward with their head held high and says 'yeah? so what???' Working as a cashier at an adult book store paid my way through college. Most of the folks who go in are good, decent people. Our clientele was mostly couples, people looking for gag gifts (especially for bridal showers or bachelor/ette parties, businessmen at lunch or right after work, and college kids on the weekends. I'm sure not all of them are as 'nice' as the one i worked in, but I really enjoyed it. | | |

No matter where you bought your ticket or what the circumstances are, its nobody's business but your own. Claim the ticket under a trust and keep it private no matter what. When you win a large amount of money like that, the 1st thing you lose is your privacy, especially when you need it the most.   Don't Play more, Play Smarter! | | |

Let's see now. $128 million dollars and all I have to say is I bought the ticket at a porn shop. Where do I sign up? Even my wife would overlook the porn shop were I to claim such wealth. In fact, she might even send me back there on a daily basis. Now if she were to hand me a check for several million dollars and told me she bought the ticket at a porn shop....well.... that would be a whole different horse of a plucked chicken. Why in the world would she need a porn shop when she has me?  TOO FUNNY!!

Is that common in the USA?? 'Adult entertainment' establishments sell lotto tickets too? Brings a whole new meaning to hoping to get lucky...  No, it isn't common ... that's why there are 4 pages of comments and joke making.  Having millions of dollars in my financial accounts means more, consistent fun for me.

All that post did was validate that man came from apes.....Which I am a beleiver in everytime I read a post such as that. We can speculate til dooms day, the reality is, thats where the ticket was bought and I don't think any amount of money can buy my admiration for this winner or even so much as wish them well in life.....Money will never buy dignity.... No, wake up. It was disproved several years ago that the human being was evolved from apes AND caveman.  Having millions of dollars in my financial accounts means more, consistent fun for me.
