Mega Millions

Lottery Post featured on ABC's Good Morning America

By Todd Northrop

Looking to start out the new year with a nice lottery nest egg?

One very lucky man says he has developed some winning techniques along the way.

Richard Lustig is a seven-time money winner.  He appeared on ABC's Good Morning America and shared a few of his tactics.

Also mentioned in the segment is Lottery Post — although not by name — along with comments posted by Lottery Post member FLATRANSPLANT.

Friday's $237 million Mega Millions jackpot is receiving lots of attention this week, as it has been over seven months since a lottery jackpot has been this large.  Plus, with the drawing happening on New Year's Eve, jackpot-dreamers have even more reasons to scoop up some extra tickets.

The winning numbers for Friday's Mega Millions drawing will be posted at USA Mega (www.usamega.com) right after the drawing at 11:00 pm Eastern Time.

Thanks to Starr920 for the tip.

I don't base my life on possibly winning, but I have planned and re-planned for years about what I would do if/when I win the big jackpot.

This is my only hobby & I only play Mega Millions & Powerball with very modest wagers!

Great for the recognition of LP!

I hope that a member wins! (me, I hope)

1 number-line-combination might not do it.

But playing very many numbers and the very same numbers or even not the same numbers on every drawing might give a better chance, the more combinations-lines played the better the chance, but beware, a person can play $10,000 for 10,000 drawings and still not win a jackpot.

There might be much more to this than what he is teling.

Using software and the right technique(s) might give you a better chance than otherwise.

If everybody across America plays that set of numbers suggested in the clip and they come out, the take home payout out would be about 25 bucks per person give or take a few bucks.

Congratulations to Todd for making the news on Good Morning America!

I knew it would happen.

There's no "magical math formula" or anything like that. The lottery is a game of chance. You have astronomical odds of winning it just like everyone else.Everybody wants it,somebody will get it.Just like the others have said, you just have to play your numbers. As far as picking those numbers...I have my personal picks and I play quick picks. If you watch the Lotto shows, most of the winners had quickpicks. The "lucky" guy is just trying to get even richer off of our addictions.Spend your money on tickets and not someone's "magic" tricks.Increase your odds.

I'll be picking a set of numbers and buying two quickpicks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

It annoys me how often ABC News talks about Lustig in their lottery news articles. I've been reading a few of them on their site and they always have to bring him up even though his book is just a ripoff. I'm pretty sure his system is to sell a book to make a lot of money so you can spend however much you want on tickets.

Every one knows there is no sercret to luck, so I my self don't look at it as that, I look at as donating to a dream, my dream, your dream, but a dreamnon the less. they say you can't win unless you play, you can't dream this this dream unless you play. some is going to win it this is the only sure bet there is!  it's worth a buck to dream. the most I have won so far is a 150 bucks just last week. not life changing, but life helping for sure and I really needed it this month. so ooo thank you, too you that donated a buck.  See Ya!
