Hi dallascowboyfan! Love your post and I agree! I know this story is written from the point of this young man but what if his mother had been praying to God that her son would change his ways of thinking?.... God makes it very clear that blessing fall on the just and the unjust (Matt 5:45) and He is Sovereign and His thoughts are not our thoughts nor are His ways our ways.....(Isaiah 55) Which reminds me...someone mentioned why would God bless this situation when there are starving children? God does care about starving children.... I feel that when you see those commercial of children suffering and you want to scream at God....just know that the fact that you are "watching" that commercial is God screaming at you to do something about it!!!!! God has given us (human beings) the power and ability to fix it..... If I can spend $1 on a lottery ticket for every drawing....I can come up with $38 bucks a month to send to my sponsor child in Ethiopia so that she can have 3 meals a day and her village can have medicine to fight HIV. (I am not saying that everyone reading this should do that...just trying to make a point that God has done His part by giving us life....we can do our part to make it better...esp for someone else). Starving children is not the result of a distant God....IT IS NOT HIS FAULT....It is the result of humanity's corruption, greed and lack of compassion......and you don't have to wait to win the lottery to make a difference. "For My thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways My ways said the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:7-9) Well said, Perfecttiming2. . I will not comply. I will never submit.

Yeah, maybe she should build it next to Obama's Theme Park based on "all 57 states" that he says he visited before the last election. It's also refreshing to have Barack pointing out errors in the history books. Okay Ridge, I get your point, we need someone who makes more gaffs than Obama. The Palin gaff calendar list has enough material for two years and Obama’s is good for maybe a week. We need another VP to flip off congress and a President who will do it to an audience and visual media. I sure miss W and Dick, but the effect still lingers. I am all for the republicans running this country bankrupt so it can be ‘reorganized’ by the Crown. Heck, I am starting to understand GHWB’s New World order. Bring it on! Who's story will history be? It is so sad you desire political perfection with imbalanced observations, but it is in the works. Next year we get the G8 and in 2013, Who-hoo! England! Homecoming! Palin is a grifter and a tease, I only wish she was still a Democrat so you could see the light. As long as she can, she will promote her divine influence (self inflicted) while spending donated money on politicians of her choice. It is divine right. Let her do the voting. What is wrong with Church and State? Is that not your new State motto? Just give your money to her and let it ride. Spend a little more time in the garden. You can have a Yamaka when you get to the Creation Abomination Park grand opening (it is like a Mickey Mouse hat without the ears). Tawd Palin has already modeled one. Then you can see how they cram some several billion years of history into the last 6,000 years while disregarding Genesis 1:2 and the fact that the book speaks of three distinct earths. We are in #2. #1 is the asteroid belt. Who was the planet killer that made earth without form and void? Why replenish if it did not need it? ....And I thought Alaska was a stupid state running in a heat with Arizona and Texas. DD Do you know why oranges will not be found here at the park? A: for fear of the juice. Know why nobody played cards to pass the time on Noah's Ark? A: Noah sat on the deck. What stretches more, flesh or rubber? A: flesh; Baalam tied his ass to a tree and walked up the mountain. What did Jesus say on the cross to lighten the mood? Hey! I can see my house from here! These bad jokes and more await you at the museum of biblical fantasy in Tennisee Kentucky

DD, when ridge made that comment asking if you were still waiting for the "spaceship" trailing the hale bopp comment to come pick up the stragglers, he should have created a poll about it based around you. just for kicks and giggles btw, are you ever going to reveal the cult you belong to, or do "they" tell you in your bylaws to keep that on the DL ? "i am .........."meant to" P.S., that RJoH is a stand up guy. thanks, vision until further notice, it's france everyday

He knows full well that 20,000 kids are going to die everyday, yet he continues to allow another 20,000 kids to be born, which in turn will die an untimely and horrible death? That's about 8 million every year for how many decades and decades? GOD says: Ok kids...come on...get ready to go today. I know you're going to croak a miserable death in a few short years but it's part of my plan. I know you'll suffer in the heat and disease filled communities filled with filth and strife up until your final day, but that too is part of my magnificent plan......It's not my fault you have leaders that are corrupt and greedy for power, not my problem, you'll have to go anyways cause I said so... You folks need serious help.

You folks need serious help. That's just silly. It's the same false argument used by newbie atheists all the time. "God lets ____ happen, so how can there be a God." I got news for you Joker: there is no good without evil. How would there be good if evil did not exist? Use more sophisticated debate points if you want to have a worthy discussion about religion. God does not "let" things happen. The world, the universe, mankind, and everything else is not perfect. Only God is. If a certain number of kids die, and that number is more than you think it should be, then maybe you should realize that the world we all live in is not perfect -- not paradise. Paradise vanished a long time ago.

"God does not "let" things happen." "...etc..." You make these statements as though they were self evident. How do you know them to be true? Try to define the concepts of "good" and "evil" in the absence of sentient life, as though you were god yourself in a universe in which you had not yet created any. And you can't cheat and use the words good, evil or their synonyms in your definitions!

visiondude makes a prediction in the other thread, and wouldn't you know it only took 3 days for it to come to pass. i told you these guys aren't interested in debating universal truths, they are only trolling around looking to start garbage, and both of them suffer from runamokitis, better know in the pshyche world as lack of self control. i just think it's hysterical now that joker opened his mouth (again), that his supposed slam dunk "undeniable truth" allows 20,000 children to die everyday. it's not "gods" fault, it's your "undeniable truths" fault.......since it's so "undeniable" above all others. that's the addition in here you made, so now you have to live with it that your "undeniable truth" is THE cause and effect. you just inadvertantly threw your alien buddies under the cosmic bus. better hope that "probe" thing isn't true. joker inSINuated that his "undeniable truth" trumped a hit parade of the worlds religions in the validity arena, so now evidently it becomes awefully suspect that those alien fellers can't do squat about the inequities of their own "world", or ours. things i would like to observe before i am swayed jokers way... lets see the alien fellers hand deliver their magna carta to joker, then... they can zoom over to the guys challenge desk, pick up the $1000 check, take a pic of it with their far advanced photo imaging thingy majiggy, and then joker can post a pic of it right here. or, joker (and the "aliens") can skip all that superlative hula baloney and save all those 20,000 children a day themselves. shoot, i think if it is "undeniable", all of us would be impressed if they can save 5,000 a day. personally, i don't demand much, 100 a day is good by me i just lowered the bar. why? cuz i am a nice guy, and "fair enough" to demonstrate someones true agenda surf the net for titanium underwear joker. you are going to need it "i am .........."meant to" P.S., that RJoH is a stand up guy. thanks, vision until further notice, it's france everyday

Paradise vanished a long time ago. I'm not an Atheist, I'm an Agnostic. I've got a ton of debate points that eclipse this issue about the kids. I'm only responding to what others are pointing out about this issue. You still didn't answer the dilemma about letting kids be born by God, knowing they're doomed. Talk about craziness. You want a good one, I'll give it. The majority of Christians believe the Universe is only about 6 to 10 thousand years old. How can that be If there are galaxies billions of light years away. it took light that long to get here. There's a lot more, but I feel it's futile because you and others will always provide some obscure answer that you're comfortable with. No one likes to deal with the tough questions, but wants to live in la la land believing everything they read in some book. Why don't you respond to the list of the hundreds of religions I posted in the topic that is closed now. Please respond to the post I made about plagiarism pertaining to the Bible. The videos I posted do a better job of explaining it. Did you even bother to watch them? You say God does not let things happen, well there's a ton of problems with that statement. if he does exist, he's the one that set up that scenario in the first place. If he's all knowing and ominpotent, Alpha and Omega he would've known that there was a good chance that Eve would eat the apple, thus ruining everything for mankind, which in itself is a rediculous story to begin with, but for arguments sake, he allowed this to happen which started a chain reaction. I'm sorry, there are way too many paradoxes in religions that make no sense whatsoever. You can try to make sense of those paradoxes all you want but I've already spent years trying to find a way around them and it's futile. If you want, I can spend hours writing ALL of the things that make no sense, but It's no use. People will do what they want despite mu efforts, so it's a waste of time for me.

People will do what they want despite mu efforts, so it's a waste of time for me. your not debating stitch. people that debate are people with an ambivlaent angle who desire to learn. you just follow people around and throw up nasty garbage against a wall, just because you have a chip on your shoulder about this arena of life. look at your last post, that comes from an angle of debate? it was a sarcastic swipe, and all you are good for when it comes to these intersections. "The videos I posted do a better job of explaining it". you mean the ones that demonstrate "they" can't save 20,000 children everyday, or even score a measly $1000 check? that's "undeniable proof" alright ....lol "Why don't you respond to the list of the hundreds of religions I posted in the topic that is closed now". i did, right in this thread. your a little on the forgetful side, probably because you being so incensed and all about this subject matter, you purposefully skip right over things that are 180 degree's opposite of your alledged "undeniable truth". what i stated about the "list" was what you insinuated, that they (the list) were all "wrong", because there were hundreds of them, so how could anyone know? fair question, until.... you opened your mouth and claimed you had the fast track to the ultimate truth, claiming your alien videos contained "undeniable truths" that superceded all intelligence and world religions. you are the one that's now claiming to know the one true answer to all of this. what's the matter, can't live up to your claims joker once someone applies the addition / subtraction magnifying glass of universal truth ? you throw garbage at everyone else, but can't handle your own in house trash compactor funny thing is, your "undenaible truths" couldn't stand shoulder to shoulder with a list you posted, because "they" couldn't even collect a paltry $1000. to ad insult to your already injurious position, i also noted correctly that your 'aliens' can't keep 20,000 children from dying. 'they" should be able to, because according to you, it's "undeniably true" that aliens ARE the answer. your right, it makes no sense for you to bomb the thread with your "concerns". let's just skip all the pleasantries, get right down to the biznatch for efficientcy purposes, and you can explain "why" if the aliens ARE the truth, why they are UNABLE to score you a $1000 check, and why they can't even save 100 people around the world from starvation? you complain about religions, but it's ok that you can't answer your own affliations claims. your the person you complain the most about. i told the board you couldn't help yourself, and now, thanks to you, they are INCENSED that aliens can't keep 20,000 children from starving everyday. you just set alien "believability" back about 500 years. at least elvis gave money to poor families to keep them from starving, by giving them $1000 checks kick rocks in your own rock pile. you are way out of your league in here rock - paper -scissors, and my "$1000 bill" just covered your "rock"... "...there is no good without evil." Of course, this is a semantic game.
You make great points. Much more eloquently done compared with my raw version...lol You're exactly correct, proclaiming things as truth, which I've been ranting all along, is the crux of this whole dilemma. I try to evaluate life with an open mind. I used to be somewhat leaning towards Christianity many years ago. But then a light went on and I started an investigation. Funny how this God gave us brains to think, analyze, scrutinize, invent, argue, discuss, evaluate, problem solve life's dilemmas, yet when it comes to the many religions to choose from, and which one of the many can give us some insight, not one human has the right to question it. Everything else in life is put thru the ringer except for Religion...WHY? What a paradox that is.....! If there is a God, I would hope he would congratulate me when I meet him. He'd pat my head and tell me I passsed the test. The test of common sense. God: You are in my everlasting presence because you earned it. Despite the multitudes claiming they knew who I was, you figured it out all by your own common sense. You chose to be spiritual and tune in with the Universal intelligence, whatever that may be. Good job my son.

i like the end of your ramble joker, where you are having a "conversation" with someone you can't name, you have no idea who they are, or what their about....... aside from the wishes you wish they were., you pretend to think you will have something in common with someone with whom you have no idea who they are. that's like getting a cab fair, going to the address you "think" you should for that fair, but it's a competitors garage "universal (i don't know what) intelligence" yeah, that makes a whole lot of 'common sense' if you "earned it", then what's the bar for everyone else so when they will also know when they crossed the "just enough line"? if you can do it, so can others, but the "bar" has to be equal for everyone, ortherwise it's only subjective to the person, and not to the qualifying standard you are claiming it is ("common sense") how much common sense? the aliens can't score you a $1000 check "common sense", or you have a ways to go ? plus, you can't even define "universal intelligence" yourself, and how one standard is applicable to every human being equally thruought all of history. i know what i need to do now, i need to turn the tables around and BOMB YOU in your own blogs. you know, take you to the cleaners in your blogs night and day when you post something i don't agree with, just to be a pest and wreak havoc. can you imagine me reminding you day and night about the fact that your aliens can't collect $1000 or save 20,000 children a day? that's what your heinous does in here. let me pray about it, and i will get back to you "i am .........."meant to" P.S., that RJoH is a stand up guy. thanks, vision until further notice, it's france everyday
