As long as the US lottery taxes your/our money as earned income, I like seeing one person win a large sum of money. Keeps the dream alive. But if they decided to change the system and make it like Canada's(tax free), then I could jump aboard the socialistic thinking of spreading the wealth when it comes to the lotto.

Other state lotteries should start a 'Fat One', it would be fun and raise much-needed revenue.

      It could be called'El Fato'

El Gordo-type lottery makes more sense. To most people out there, even $100,000 will make a huge difference in their lives. Even better, it will change many people's lives. I'd rather see 1000 $100,000 winners than 1 $100,000,000 winner.

        I agree.
